Zildjian
So i am freak ECSTATIC about my 3 hose Gyro arriving on monday, but im nervous because I learned that I destroyed my last hose. So, it is coming with 3 leather cloinosse hoses. Are those washable (as in running water through it? thats how i killed my last hose) If not, how should i clean them. I want this hookah to last a longer time than my last, so I am prepared to treat it like my baby.
staygone
I would advie to not running water through them becuase even if they're "washable", they still can rust. Before and after each session blow through them hard and hit them on the ground. I just converted my hoses into vinyl tubing monsters, now I have no worries about letting them sit in the tub to get washed. No rust fo' sho'.-QM

Regarding the Mya Cloisonne hoses, you can run water through them for a brief moment, but in order to not damage the hoses, they must be dried out immediately. Check out our tips & tricks section to learn more. If you have any questions shoot me a PM, email, or feel free to give me a call.Hope this helps! Zildjian
Yea, before I would suck water through the hose, spit out the gunk (it really sucked but it was clean) and it still rotted the wood. I have seen some people just blow out the stuff, dry, before use...but I dont think thats really super clean...just worried the same thing will happen is all. staygone
Did you smack the living crap out of it before using the hose? Try that out before blowing them dry,-QM
Zildjian
so yes use water or no use water?...sorry if im annoying...just worried. I read your maintainance section on the website. 30-50 sessions? Mine started to deteriorate after MAYBE 10. Shitty hose maybe? meh..maybe im not as worried now... kram
i use a vacuum cleaner, i either clasp my hand ard the butt end of the hose (part tht attachs to stem) place it in the mouth of the vacuum cleaner.or i take a plastic bag, punch a hole in it with the butt end of the hose and place the hose into the mouth of the vacuum cleaning tube. the clasped hand and plastic bag is so tht the hose does not tht sucked into the vacuum cleaner.now if u have a KM hose or something similar u dun have to use a plastic bag or create a resistance with ur hand cause their butt end is big enough so tht their not sucked into the vacuum cleaner.is it clearer now? SafeSearchOff
i dont use water in my mya washables anymore. before each session, i just smack the crap out of them. hit the handles on the counter, throw it up in the air like a lasso, smack the hose itself on my granite counters, then blow out for a good minute. then smack it a few times again, and blow for a little more. works great. kram
yah i dunno abt blowing into it, ur kinda adding more moisture i feel. i still feel some kinda machine tht either sucks air or blows air at the high velocity wld be extremely beneficial.
