Tangiers Difference? Funnel And Mod?

hey guys, ive been smoking hookah for a while now, and i recently heard on the forum about funnel bowls. while ive searched around a bit and get the idea of what they are, why do you need a mod for them? also ive heard it mentioned that tangiers is designed for funnels, how would a specific brand of shisha be better in a funnel?
i smoke al fakher almost exclusively btw, so would that function properly in a funnel? or would the superchief bowl that people are talking about be more suitable than a funnel?

The mod is there to allow you to smoke shisha OTHER than tangiers, if you are looking for a bowl to smoke al fakher you should look at the super chief. if is made a differently with the same concept of a phunnel.

I know that the mod helps regulate the heat around the shisha, but nothing else. Ive just been using my funnel bowl and mod for a couple of sessions of starbuzz and laylina.. I notice that the pull is a lot harder and the smoke really isnt that thick, whats the problem!?

The phunnel bowls are also made for you to pack the bowls, like if you are using tangiers they almost suggest you compress it in the bowl. its kind of hard to say what wrong with out knowing the process you go through to pack your bowls

The mod also makes it so you use alot less shisha for the same smoke, as the juices dont drain into the stem. So your smoke is thicker. And the mod also redirects airflow so it goes right through the liquid at the bottom.
