Johnny_D
MYA!Opinions?I quite like it and it's resonsably priced. [£18.20 // $36.40]Ordering some coals from there [Thanks Yusuf!] and some other bits and quite fancy this.JD Edited September 30, 2007 by Johnny_D cost clarification
shisha fan
i was thinking of ordering from there, seems like a good site. but the shisha in germany only contains 5% glycerin opposed to the normal 25%, that means you`ll have to add it yourself (they sell it in little 50ml bottles) so keep that in mind. i might buy a mya solaris there soon. Johnny_D
Yer, I was not going to order tobacco from there. Just some of those 40mm coals and a few other bits.Tobacco I can get from the US reasonably so i don't tend to worry about it.JD
MechAnt
I have a full sized MYA Acrylic and I love it to death. I know you'll love this thing quite a bit as well. samildanach
it's quite a good little hookah, comes in a nice little cardbox box as well so would make an ideal travel hookah.I'm glad your liking the coal that i sent you, i have been using these for a while, and find then pretty good.i have used the jap style coals form mnhookah, also nour finger coals as well.. but for convenience, these are my everyday coals.and price is pretty decent on them too..delivery should be within 7 days. ZenSilk
I say go for it! That same pipe is 39.95 on clearance at H-S and 49.95 normal price. The price you can get it at is WAYY better! I have a Mya Acrylic, and it's a wonderful little piece that hits great and is a bit too easy to clean.

MechAnt
SafeSearch, around there is correct. I got mine from southsmoke which normally costs about $75 but I got it on sale for low $60ies. I will highly recommend MYA Acrylics of any size to anyone.
SafeSearchOff
JD - just remembered some1's complain about the mini-mya's from a few months ago. i believe it was mentioned that on the mini-acryllic's such as the one you posted the pieces were actually welded and in some parts, glued. HC commented on it and said something about the small ones being of lesser quality.

Akkbar
johnny boy,i have that exact hookah and its my main smoke. the purge valve will not work not matter what you try, and the grommet is a little close to the tray, but its pros vastly outweigh the cons. i can clean it in undera minute, and most of that is the base! disassemble completely, hot hot water, bingo. the cardboard box is alright, but i use the case from my bambino and it fits well. im getting a hose adaptor this coming week, as well as another hose and another sky blue velvet hose cover from h-s, so it'll also be quite easy on the eyes. I can say enough about how great this hookah has been to me. if you decide to get it, enjoy.

SafeSearchOff
merh, isnt the point of acryllic hookahs the screw-seal? im a fan of grommets, but IMO the thing thats supposed to "make" acryllics is its awesome screw-on seal.i'm against this mini-acryllic, and here's why. to me, it seems like MYA was just trying to capitalize here so they were just like "hey, lets just take this totally awesome hookah, and make it smaller. and cheaper." instead of "hey, we have this very successful design, how can we porperly port it to be a hood mini hookah as well?" MechAnt
I just now finished smoking from a Mini Acrylic at my friend's place. Seems these caveats are bad but in reality, none of them affect performance. It smokes nearly as well as my 26" Acrylic.

ZenSilk
Yeah the screw on seal is pretty nifty, al though it takes forEVER to unscrew when you got a nice little buzz going. And base grommets i don't usually have a problem with anyway, but the screw-on does provide an always-airtight seal. The base of the normal acrylic is very wide, so it's damn near impossible to pull this rig over without a lot of extra force. And the stem comes apart into 3 parts; the heart, middle stem, and bowl stem. So it's very easy to clean. The screw-on hose adapters option is magnificent too. It may not get by on looks, but in functionality, it's as beautiful as Jessica Alba in a bikini.
