bapesta
I'm sorry if this topic should go elsewhere, but I believe it is appropriate for this section. I just recently got my first hookah and have been loving it, but need a place to order shisha as it is preetey expensive around Ottawa. Any tips on which website ships to Canada best, and has good prices?

Akkbar
usually. go to hookah shisha and ask what they can do for you. but ive received lots of stuff no customs fee. i think its kinda random
Brownman18
Keep your orders below 4 boxes, everytime i order 4 boxes i never get hit with customs.. also dont order a hookah and shisha in the same box cuz if the hookah is big then they will prob search the box as it is also big. I would not reccomend large orders at a time, i usually order 8 in two orders of 4.. shipping is a pain but it costs less then customs, for a 12 box order i paid $154 to customs. Johnny_D
I would also echo the comments made thus far.I've had a lot of luck with mnhookah's to the uk. And keep the orders smallish. I tendto limit myself to 750g's max... more normally 500g at a time.Smaller the better, and some will ship without claiming tobacco on the customs forms.JD
chinamon
keep in mind that just because the shipper claims there is no tobacco in the package it doesnt mean that you wont get taxed.i would recommend alfakheronline.com & pimpyourhookah.com & mnhookah.comive had good experiences with all three of them. Brownman18
yea theirs a crackdown on shisha & canadian customs coming though FYI i contacted alota vendors they wont do the gift thing anymore, even if their web sites claim it.Just keep it small and enjoy it no more then 4 boxes is my 2 centsa few of the local arab stores i go around too are echoing the same comments, Shisha would cost about $40 or so in canada with proper customs.. ridiculous eh? all for 2.5 grams of nicotine lol

Im still waiting on that genuine hookah package, but it was a big order of about 10 boxes so im thinking its going to be a $140 duty assuming it ever arrives.
