The Messiah
I love to drink my beer too much to waste it like that.
barrenwizard
Considering that we Malaysian have tax on Alcoholic drniks. I don't see why is it so precious over there. Its like USD$ 3 for a Large Guinnes Stout.

barrenwizard
Alright, this it totally off topic. Anyone have ever tried using alcohol mix with water in their Hookah?
Gaara
I've tried Alcoholic drinks (wine, vodka, beer) in the base and at the end of the day, it's just not worth it. It's fun to experiment if you haven't already tried it but not more than that IMO. Not only is it a waste of of the beverage, it's also doesn't enhance the smoking experience (except giving you more buzz with liquor in the base). spoolinspoon
I can say that I have mixed a Margarita in the base and filled the rest with water. Put some SB Margarita and it was damn tasty.
BrotherBuford
Personally, never having tried it, it sounds kinda nasty and a waste of beer. Now beer WITH shisha, I can do that. Starbuzz pumpkin pie and a glass of homebrew German hefeweizen is pretty awesome.I do wonder what a hops flavored shisha would taste like with malt extract as the sugar syrup base of the tobacco instead of molasses or honey. I figure it'd be kind of like malta and not really like beer.
OBY
I used 4 cans of pabst blue in the vase rather than any water at all.The carbonation was an interesting experience but after that wore off and I swung the beer foam from my hoses on the hookah table it was really good. I forget what the flavor we used was but I am sure it would taste pretty good with whatever flavor.
Tempest72
Bit off topic, but really good. Around here there is a little winery called Brotherhood. They make a spiced holiday wine that is already for mulling, ahh heating. It already has the spices in it, and is relatively sweet. I have put about a 50/50 mix in my hookah and smoked Romman Fruit Punch threw it. It was amazing. The spices really added to the flavor. You could taste the wine. Really enjoyable. The other thing is it is about $12 USD per 1.5 liters. Good stuff. So if you are from New York, or what to order some. It is worth the try. mrmonk7663
There is a hookah lounger in College Station, TX that has beer in the base as an option. I haven't tried it personally but it has been done and is done in many places. I have tried a shot or two of vodka mixed with water and had good results, interesting flavor imparted to the session. I have also tried Bailey's Irish Cream and water with good results, nice flavor and good smoke due to the addition of milk in the irish cream. Lately I tried using straight root beer, and that was an interesting taste too. I've also used cool aid, orange juice, grape juice, heavy whipping cream, sweetened condensed cream, and other things. Out of everything I would have to say that my favorites are heavy whipping cream with water or sweetened condensed cream and water. The heavy whipping with water gave the best flavor and smoke, but it makes hookah butter lol. The sweetened condensed cream also gives good flavor and good smoke, with out the hassle of hookah butter, but isn't quite as good as the heavy whipping cream. Anyway, all of the above mentioned things were mixed with water except for the rootbeer, it was straight. Hope this helps someone. Experimentation is good and fun!!! Hobocans
I was at a party this summer, where there was about 1/3 left in a Colt 45. We were smoking Tangiers Orange Soda, and decided to pop off the Hobo and pop it onto the 40.The flavor could be best described as Cream Soda. Everyone was really surprised at how well it tasted. The only issue was that we used 100% beer in the vase, which bubbled up quite a lot and eventually started getting into the hose.Colt 45 is cheap, I would definitely do this again. Probably with a mix of water/beer.
