The Crown Mod

So its 4 in the morning and I just recently got done smoking a bowl of tangiers out of my 15-25g mod bowl. I get good and bad bowls from time to time. So I thought of an idea which I named the crown that would control both your heat and shisha distributation. Sorry if i just through this together Im getting kind of tired :-P.If somone thought of somthing similiar already I appoligize.

I'm speculating if you had some honking 40mm coals you could possibly even throw it right in the middle and the heat from the edges would be enough to make a wonderfull tangiers session Edited October 1, 2007 by KLD

clever way to mod the phunnel (sort of). for all the work.. ill dish out teh $12 for the phunnel.

Yes a regular 15-25 gram mod bowl, the point of having this is to imitate what a punnel bowl / superchief bowl would do.

I dont think im understanding this mod. Where do you put the shisha and is this on a phunnel bowl or just like a normal bowl. (does the shisha go inside this thing or around it ?

It's kinda like a funnel, only theres probably still some holes showing that liquid can leak into, and the bowl might be too deep to get the full effects. And it's not inverted in the middle, it's concave, so that might be a problem. Maybe you can put tin foil in the bowl, and poke the holes into the foil on the inside of the tealight.

This mod works flawlessly, I had a couple sessions of it throughout a couple days, If you make sure you don't cut your slits on the side too deep and pack your shisha right, you will have no problems. The bowl depth is dependent on how wide of a teacup you get. The only reason the phunnel and supercheif are convex is so the molasses doesnt go down your stem, but the teacup IF put in properly will not leak liquid down into the stem deeming the foil unnecessary as you suggested.
