Knocked The Shisha Off The Table But The Mya Qt Survived

Recommended Posts

I'm surprised I've never done this before in all my years of smoking shisha, but a couple nights ago I snagged the hose and knocked my QT off the table and it came crashing to the floor - a hardwood floor with an ugly cheap rug over it. Surprisingly I didn't panic or anything, just leisurely picked up the coals with the tongs, soaked up the spilled water with a paper towel, and dusted up the ash. The rug took a couple hits from the hot coal, but the QT itself was unscathed. I pulled it apart and washed it, loaded up some new tobacco (the bowl contents got flushed with vase water when the pipe toppled), and it smokes the same as it ever has. No chipped glass or anything.

The Tangiers bowl on top didn't take any damage either.

Last week I did the same thing with my pumpkin hookah, but it was sitting on the windowsill. In my haste to catch the vase, I slapped the bowl right out the window onto the sidewalk 1 story below. Needless to say it was history. But I ordered a phunnel to replace it, so it ended well.

My mya acrylic base was in my trunk for 2 months rolling around, it hasn't broke yet ^^

I keep my entire collection in my trunk all the time. Its been a few months and both of my egyptians are fine. H-S give you these carrying bags that are actually pretty paded.
