Brownman18
a quick Q to those with the chief browsing the topic. So is the goal to pack around the outside of the rim? and poke holes only on the outside?or poke holes over the holes in the bowl on the center of the foil as well as a ring on the outside (were the shisha is packed in)?Compared to a regular Egyptian bowl, does it conserve more shisha? or would i still be using about 15-20 g a bowl and only achieve the same 1 hour or so of smoke time? Also a slight off topic question, do you guys all use regular foil? I was browsing a web site on someone's sig it was a site about hookah etiquette. Apparently regular foil from the grocery store will kill me if i use it? (been using it since i started hookah)I think i've covered that topic before, but just double checking regular foil = safe?i mean i bbq potatos in it lol. racemyghost
as far as foil goes, people put foil in ovens that get 10x hotter then your little coals are going to get it and have no problem.as far as the superchief, i dont have first hand experience with it but ive heard/read you're suppose to pack on the edges and only poke holes on the edges. Not clear whether you're supposed to actually press it into the groove or sprinkle it in the general area...
Sonthert
Put it down in the groove. Otherwise like you would normally sprinkle it it. The holes are big enough to have smaller cuts of tobacco sucked down into them if its over it. Tangiers wouldn't, but ya know.
