Picking The Hookahs

Recommended Posts

If you want the best, I'd recommend either Syrians from JandR or the large one from Alfakheronline.com.
My local lounge had The AF rigs with nammor hoses and i absolutely loved those.
Now on 4/2 holes the difference is not on the amount of smoke but in smoothness. If you pack a bowl right you dont get any difference but if it gets harsh its not that abvious in the 4 holed.

Cheers

back it up...i don't see how having 2 or 4 holes would make any difference between a bad packed bowl getting harsh...

Go with the myas, they have these at my local bar and they have had them for years. Just make sure that they are cleaned every night and I see no problem having these last you for a very very long time.

If i bought myas I would get like 8 of them for 1 grand if i included shipping so thats out of the questions, not to mention I dont want their cheap glass breaking and/or somone else busting somthing else on those expensive beasts

mya acryllics are like a plastic-plexiglass mix. they are nigh unbreakable unless you take like a boot to it.

8 for 1000?! I just threw retail price of the Acrylic I have from southsmoke ($75) and that came out to 600. With shipping, it shouldn't be anymore than a 100 more. 1000?!!!!!?!??!?!?!!?

If you really want to be hardcore, you can mass order large or medium stems and bases from MYA direct and it wont be that expensive either. Edited by MechAnt

i'm not a hardcoe acryllic lover, and no offence taken. but from a business point of view, it makes the most logical sense ot me to get acryllic hookahs, due to their durability and machine-made parts, amking everything replacable/excahngable.

I hear ya, but acrylics are just as durable as KM's in my opinion and are traditional as I want, thank you for your opinion

Hmmm... In that case, since you're so bent against Acrylics, look at some of Social Smoke's offerings. Their pipes are known to be great. Plus, they are one of the biggest hookah wholesalers around these parts so you can go to them for your needs. KM's are damn nice tho...

or just go with those egyptians H-S has. They get wholesale from hookahwholesalers.com, maybe one of those?
Social Smoke pipes are used in alot of hookah bars. They look great and perform great.

I still say go KM though.

He said no to Acrylics, so everyone should probably stop suggesting acrylics.

High quality hookahs: KM\'s, Syrians. Thats the bottom line. Seems like you are going for the higher end hookahs, so basic Egyptians are out of the question, i think? The above comment would be true if you were going for basic Egyptians.

<3 this guy, The reason I'm going towards higher-end hookahs is because my business is going to be for regulars, not tourists etc etc. People will respect quality even if it is a little bit more money, thus in the long run I will make more money
