Well, just think about all those people who they are targeting. I bet you on my life they aren't targeting people in mostly white communities... I'm not trying to sound racist... but the government is racist. I bet the Saad, the Iranian guy who owns the smoke shop down the street gets listened in on. I'd like to see a white person completely plan and carry out a "Terrorist Attack" to prove this. I think the Patriot Act is racist and completely full of shit. Have you noticed that all this crappy shit is happening for one reason? The election of Bush. I blame Alabama, Colorado, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Texas, FLORIDA, plus many more, and my own home-state of Utah, all except my dad.

But back on topic... The gun law that came out that made assault weapons legal... that's a great step toward peace. Now cops have to deal with civilians carrying M4-A1's and street sweepers. They have to be on their toes,and they need a little space. Damn. I've gotten mad at someone for speaking out of place before. I'm sure all of you have to.

i don't like the i got nothing to hide defense, in america we are inocent until proven guilty and under the constitution the government cannot just randomly listen in to my phone calls, look at my bank accounts or any thing like that unless they have proof that i have done some thing wrong and with a warrant.

If people wouldn't abuse their rights then things like this wouldn't have to happen. It only take a few people to spoil it for the rest of us. I highly doubt that if the govenment put cameras in homes that they would be in use for long. People would be in rage and destroy all of them. Not if people vote in Presidents who want strick gun laws/ban on firearms or allow the Brady Campaign to pass its laws.

As far as police go. Well, I have never had any issues personally, however I have numerous friends who have been pestered by them because the Police are lacking knowledge in certain laws (mostly on legal carry of firearms). Have recordings of some officers going as far as saying "I do not care about your constituitional rights."

Heres a video of one of them. Its the troopers car camera. You can watch it unfold as he shows up.

Back Story: Dan (the black guy ) was open carrying a handgun waiting for his friend to get off work. He buddy works at a bank so he parked across the street and waited. 1 security guard walked by then another walked by. Soon after the Police showed up with guns drawn on him. (Sadly, this happens most of the time. One of us is going to be on the end of bad trigger finger control one of these days. )

Yes, I know what you are thinking. Gun outside of a bank = robbery . If a man is standing around with a holstered firearm he is not going to do any harm. Last time I checked muggers/theives do not openly carry otherwise there is no more surprise. All it would have taken was the security guard to question him on what he was doing. Instead, the call was made that a "black man" has a gun...... For the record as well, Dan has been illegally detained/arrested 4 times in the past year for openly carrying. He still claims it has nothing to do with his race.

Some white kids (southern white kids, i.e. racists) hung Nooses on the tree in front of the school because the previous day, some black kids ate lunch there.

The black kids were like "Fuck you" and beat the fucking shit out of the white kids.

The black kids all get charged with 2nd degree battery, and fined. The white kids got off scott free.

The Jena 6 happened like 2 weeks ago. But you missed a part of the story. The tree was the "white kids tree" as the news reported, and has been theirs for a long time. Then you have a group of kids who want to be smart asses and mix things up in a location where people believe segregation still exists. They hang out under the tree, then the nooses pop up the next day. 2 wrongs right now. Then they decided to beat up one of the white kids, 3rd wrong. News gets called in to blow up what should have been a high school fight into racist battle, 4th wrong. The Rev. gets called in, 5th wrong. Now all hell breaks loose, why because of a god damn high school fight.

Sadly, this racist bullshit is going to keep existing if people still push the damn issue. The Rev.'s seem to be the biggest push. It can never be a fight, it always has to be a white kid verse a black kid.


As far as the white kid not being charged. As far as I know they have not stated whether he was apart of the noose hanging or not. You are also missing the fact that 6 kids jumped 1 kid. Why should the kid who was attacked be charged with battery? Same thing with 6 white kids jumping a black kid, why should the black kid be charged with battery? The victim is never charged, if they were then are judicial system would be complete shit.

I am all for patriot act. I am not planning any terrorist act so I have nothing to worry about if they are listening. Im sure they don't just listen to every phone call ever made but if they suspect something fishy is happening then they listen. I say go for it. Don't be a criminal and you have nothing to fear.

They are fucking awesome at pulling me over every time i drive out past 11:00 in my neighborhood and then asking for my stuff, and then saying thank you, goodnight.

Don't ask, i have no idea why this happens, and it has always been an undercover cop. Always. I have been followed 4 miles, until he decided to turn his lights on and pull me over. And it's not only me, My friend Dan is pulled over too, for waht reason? None. They don't even say anyhting but the required Cop phrases, and "Thank you, have a good night". We don't speed, we don't go through any of the 2 stop signs, we don't do shit. But again and again we get our asses pulled over.

One time, i got pulled over at my house. I got out of my car and started walking in and the cop sat in his car and waited til i went inside, came up, rang the doorbell, asked my mom if i lived here, my mom started bitching at him () to stop pulling me over for no reason, and he just left.

If they can pull me over for no reason, then i should be able to skull fuck them.

First off there are many reasons besides the obligatory "they didn't have a reason" excuse. 1. They could be looking for a suspect vehicle previously called in 2. They might have recieved several phone calls from residents about people driving in and out of YOUR neighborhood in suspicious vehicles or think looked suspicious. (Trust me, neighbors are noisey and will call on anyone they can) 3 your driving pattern may have looked suspicious to the officer. 4 You and your friend might have vehicles similar to UCI's they use or known drug users. Should I continue?


As for the kid a UF, first off that kid was an idiot. Yes he should be able to use his right to free speech but what you don't understand is HE RESISTED the officers. When he asked him to leave, he didn't when they asked him multiple times to stop he didn't. When they tried to detain him ( I'm sure John Kerry's security, or the actual school asked him to be escorted out of the building and trespassed from the event) he of course tried to act the innocent ass, and got tasered. *why of why am i being tasered??!?* well because you're a moron. That's why. You can clearly see in that video that he resisted arrest first before he was tasered. Therefore deserved to get it. (PS He was still resisting even with multiple officers trying to put cuffs on him......)


I think all in all we are not a police state yet. I think there are definately a few bad apples in the bunch that need to get weeded out. A Black Male, who was 21 years old, died tonight in jacksonville. The mother is crying and carrying on about how the police killed her son yadda yadda yadda. They should have never tased my son. BLHA BLAH police brutality...... They should have never tased my son, he didn't do anything wrong......

Come to find innocent son was pulled over on a routine traffic stop, then the son assaulted a cop and then fled on foot from the officers and resisted arrest..... He deserved to get tased . Since he was stoned out of his gourd, he died. There is a saying... " life figures out ways to eliminate stupidity from the gene pool..."

edited to add- He died a while after being tased. The officers called rescue and did cpr. But I just wanted to add, that they are uncertian what caused the death, but think the taser and the drugs had to do with it. Edited November 20, 2007 by kornkitten42

If you do something really really daft [as in KK's example above] then yes, you should probably expect some pain.

However it does appear that Tazers are being used maybe too much? Pulling a gun and shooting someone has consequences. but no fear! Tazer is here! All the fun of shooting folks - probably without the death.

So whilst i agree that police should be able to defend themselves, maybe Tazers are not as 'non lethal' as we were once led to believe.

And in KK's example above I would suggest that the officers should have just run after him and given him a good kicking Rodney king style? Much more non-lethal.
