modpod
I love these things.. is anybody else noticing that hookahub doesn't seem to have vivi wooden coals anymore? nor does anybody else? how do the nour coals sold by hookah-shisha compare? also... I've been cutting the vivi coals with a serrated bread knife, and then hitting the knife edge with a 5lb sledge hammer to break up the coals. is there an easier way ? oh, I'm new here. hi ! mushrat
Hi! Welcome to the forum. I use natural bulk charcoal myself, so i have to cut up mine as well, I just use a knife and the palm of my hand, but i think that the basic method is the same. To save time i Just sit down every once in a while and cut up a container's worth. Can't help you on the vivi issue...sorry...

mushrat
They don't seem to have a phone number for customer service...so do be careful.
Mathazar
They also have a lot of HookahHookah products, such as Hookahs and tobacco. Don't know what that is all about. I know that HookahHookah is owned by SaharaSmoke. So does that mean that Ragga-Dagga is also? Hmmmm...........

Mathazar
To be quite honest, I just used Nour finger coals recently, and they were a pain in the ass. They kept rolling off the the bowl, and when I got a little bit into the charcoal, I started getting a VERY strong charcoal flavor. My ALL AROUND FAVORITES are still Golden Coals. They're disc-shaped so they won't roll off the bowl, and they're odorless and flavorless as you won't detect ANY charcoal flavor whatsoever in the smoke. The only problem I see with Golden Coals is that they sparkly a lot while lighting them, and every once in a blue moon they blow-up while lighting them. I suggest wearing goggles or glasses while lighting the Goldens to protect your eyes. That may sound like too much effort, but it's WELL WORTH IT in the long run. Goldens are the BEST!!! You can get them over at: www.Hookah-Shisha.com
cypress
Mathazar, what i do to prevent the roll is use a piece the size of the bowl and cut it in half. I make a "T" with the coals to help prevent the roll.
Mathazar
You're a genius, I would have never thought of that. But, I still prefer Golden Coals for convenience and flavor.........or shall I say NO flavor
