Hmm if i can remember i use .. 4 halfes for tangiers and uhh maybe like 2-3 half's for a reg bowl? maybe...

when using my medium phunnel with mod
loaded with al fakher
i use two whole 3kings placed opposite of each other (12 and 6 o'clock positions)
when those are done i place another two whole coals at 3 and 9 o'clock positions.

Yes, i do the same. Only with Golden Coals. I find that the mountain formation that the Mod creates makes the tobacco heat slower, so i use as much heat as i can without burning it. If it's too bad, i take one off, but it's usually perfect with 2 on each side.

that is exactly how i do it.. but what size quicklights you got? if it is 33 mm then use 1 whole 1 and 1 half..if it is 40mm then 2 halves
