sandsk8erz400
Well, I've been looking at getting a small personal hookah and had pretty much decided on getting it offline since the only places I knew of by me were the smoke shops and they were more then overcharging for hookahs since they'er popular. But I've become friends with a new Iraqi student at my school and he showed me a middle eastern market by his house. To make it short they have a hookah their for $30 and it looks just like the QT. Now I've never seen the qt in person so I don't know how to judge this. I tried looking for a tag or something saying mya but couldn't find it. It seemed to have the s class stem and comes in the same cage as ive seen pictured, along with a hose and cleaning brush. Is there anyway I can tell its a genuine QT, or just a knock-off? Check to make sure MYA is stamped on the stem and hose. You said that it comes with a cleaning brush. From what I know MYA doesn't make cleaning brushes.Thats the first thing that makes me think its fake unless they added it in there. The bowl should also have a little sticker that says MYA.If any of those fail to have MYA on there then I wouldn't want to risk buying something fake. What abouts are you located? ZenSilk
If it's sold in a market it's probably fake. A Chinese knockoff of a Chinese Product.
KillZedKill
MYA, will be written in the coal tray, on the bottom of the stem, and their is usually some kind of little signature on the bottom of the glass.

New2Hookah
Id say no. QT\'s aren\'t that great imho. I smoked one side-by-side with my egyptian (which is just a little taller at 22\") and the egyptians smoke much better and are much better quality. So much so...my friend bought a 22\" just like mine a few days later. Shop around maybe something will suit your tastes and needs better...at much better pricing. New2Hookah
If you look in the right places, you\'ll find Egyptians for much less:http://jandrhookahs.com/egyptian-hookahs-2...tian-c-1_7.htmlusually its a case of, \"yea their prices are cheap but their service sucks\" but this is not the case with these guys. Great service and even better products. It just takes a little searching, thats all...
ZenSilk
22" egyptians from JandR are nice. But a Mya QT smokes the exact same. It's only samller, and to some people it looks better. The Glass is better on those egyptians though.. its not made in some factory in CHINA.. nd they are 25 bucks. Better value. SO i would go with one of those. But those new syrians from Social smoke.. all brass stem.. Fuck yeah.
Molson
hmm i never smoked out f a qt but i now own a bambino and and 28'' egyption from Socical Smoke. After realizing i need money and being in college everyone wants to buy my hookah off me, i decided to ell my 28''. Smokes great but that bam smokes just as well and is way easier to clean, transport, and much sturdier! I say if you can find a good small hookah go for it. From whati hear the qt and bam are basically the same.
