New2Hookah
I know alot of people have done this in the past, and it seems to work very well because this forum is so great at helping each other out. Its my turn now, I want to upgrade. I did my homework, I did alot of reading, so I know I want either a solid brass or solid SS Hookah. This brings it down to a Syrian, something from KM, or, maybe even a Stargate. I know there has been some dilema about the stargate vases being acrylic, but I\'ve heard through the grapvines that the Medium stargates are being made with glass vases now. I dont know why only medium, I didnt ask questions. So those are my choices. I know you guys know where to look, and I know you guys know who carries what. So let me hear it... ZenSilk
NO STARGATE. I've only heard crap about them.KM and Syrian. Those are some good choices. But i think the only brass cored KM available now is the Tri-Metal on Hookah Company. HookahCompant offers a bunch of brass + stainless steel pipes on their site, and they look very sturdy, especially the Badr heavy Duty pipe. JandR Syrians, of course, are thick brass stemmed and cored pieces, and i know you know that. They also disassemble very nicely. And if Social Smoke's Syrian Line is not hollw brass stemmed, i would reccomend one of those over a JandR rig, only for price (IMO). 1. Km Amer2. Jandr Syrian, SS Syrian (If not hollow)3. Al Fahker hookah4. Km Tri-Metal
ZenSilk
I'd get the last one on the list. I really dig it.

Stealth
I was thinking about getting that last jandr syrian myself but eventually went with a different one from them. Its great. Also, I saw a glass stargate myself one one of the sites. I have the acrillyc one and I love it. Got a replacement base after over a year from them because it stripped, and thats its only flaw imo. If you got one of the glass base ones I'm sure youll love it.

New2Hookah
I dont like AF Hookahs something about that second tray. Also, the vases are just retarded looking with that AF logo.Husky, what do you sell as far as Syrians?Stealth, which hookah did you end up getting from them?I can get these marble syrians for much less than what SS offers. Same identical shafts, different vases. I just simply dont like the marble.Im still up for suggestions, time line is like next weekend. I really don\'t have a budget. This will be a group buy. ZenSilk
It has a solid brass downstem, and weighs the exact same as one of JandR's other style Syrians. I htink it would be a good choice, but it's also near the value of Social Smoke's Syriand, only almost 40" tall. I think it would be a very solid rig. ZenSilk
The Dahab Egyptian looks amazing. It was recomended by Mr.Tangiers himself, to me, and it's look is just gorgeous. I would have purchsed it, but i needed a three hose hookah (after changing my needs abrubtly).
