nbraunstein
it seems like about 40% of the time I smoke my hookah I either get super dizzy or have a weird feeling in my stomach afterwords....sometimes im fine. Could it be that I smoked it on an empty stomach??opps.
cypress
Sometimes while smoking on an empty stomach it has that affect. Typically you would want to eat an hour before smoking by yourself. I have been smoking for a while now and I dont have those affects. If you are smoking by yourself give yourself a break every now and then if you start to feal bad. Really if you wanted just remove the coals take a 5 or 10 minute break then either re-kindle the coals or add some new ones and smoke again. But yea its normal to feel that affect. mushrat
I've also noticed that different brands of ma'asell have different buzz levels. Nakhla has the heaviest buzz by far, af is much mellower... You smoking the same stuff every time?
nbraunstein
im smoking mostly shisha from fumari since its only 10 min from me I can just go pick it up. Mostly the strawberry, and watermelon. Any other suggestions of things I should try?
Mathazar
White Peach is good, and some people have commented that the Guava is pretty good, I tried it and was not impressed, though it does taste like Guava, it also has a weird flavor to it that doesn't appeal to me. Really, Watermelon and White Peach are the only ones worth trying from Fumari. Is Strawberry a new flavor over there? Dammit, right when I quit smoking, Fumari drops a BOMB with a great new flavor
John Deere
The forbidden fruits are often the sweetest, math. This time that fruit happens to strawberry. Stay strong!
mushrat
And I'm sure it will taste about like every other strawberry you've already smoked, PLUS the company's rep is not exactly stellar with only 2 real good flavours, so..you're not really missing much... jmexx
Good thing I read this thread, I almost went to fumari's site and bought their ridiculously expensive shisha. I guess I'll just stick with Al Amir from southsmoke.com. When I first started smoking I would feel light headed, now I just feel relaxed and ready to sleep some of the times. The warmer flavours give a more tiring aftermath. The stomach issue should be covered with a good snack or something before you smoke. Good luck and try some Al Amir!Jon
yashman19
A lot of people here feel that Al Amir lacks flavor, but from the flavors I tried, I absolutely love the stuff. Real nice moiste wet cut of tobacco, with exellent flavor in the grape and strawberry, but those are the only flavors I've tried from Al Amir. jmexx
Well I've tried peach, blackberry, pomegranate, pina colada, banana split and kiwi from them and the only one I wasn't really satisfied with was the kiwi. Just because it wasn't as flavourful as the rest, other then that it's a decent flavour. I love all the other ones and really enjoy smoking Al Amir tobacco.Jon
Absinthe
I have only smoked Romman Cherry and Rose, as well as Naklah (I think) Coffee, Jasmine, Mint, Apple, and Coconut. Of all of them I got the biggest "buzz" from Coconut, but the best smoke from the Rommans. I was under the impression that if you had a lot of smoke you would have more of a buzz. It could have been how I had been smoking also, seeing as how, starting off I didn't take a lot in. Also, I have felt a little sick after smoking, but as was mentioned above, it was after not having eaten.
Guest www.genuinehookahs.com
i get light headed too sometimes...it has something to do with how much you inhale i believe. I could be wrong
mushrat
The volume of smoke may have something to do with it, but i firmly believe its such factors as what type of tobacco is used, (some use french tobacco, some egyptian, and some even use virginian) and what other additives are used besides the honey/molasses and tobacco. It probably also has to do with how much you smoke. More people means as the hose is being passed around, you're not smoking as often. (Different for me with my 4 hose) Plus what ever else you are doing like talking, drinking, necking..... Nakhla still has more bang for the buck... $.
