poopooshaboo
I just opened this part of my hookah to clean, which I usually just keep together as a piece and run water through. Let's just say, it was fucking gross. There was some sort of dark brown granulated crap all up through it, that is super hard to get out but smells nasty, not to mention this nasty clear sludge on the screws. PIX: SICK. I know. Any ideas dor the best way to get this crap off? Qtips and toilet paper arent cutting it. Above anything else, this is a perfect example of why you take the entire hookah apart when you clean it. Laziness doesn't pay.
nicayotte
Three letters.... CLR it will do the job for you just make sure you rinse every bit off!
mrmonk7663
Get you a good rifle or shotgun bore cleaning brush to clean the inside, works great. I use some stuff called 420 cleaner or something, works pretty good.Mike
shisha fan
lemon juice and salt is what you need to clean that out.
olooko
If you need some mechanical approach use steel wool. Get something more coarse like 00.
shisha fan
steel wool could damage the threads
Scheetz
Looks like surface rust to me. Just scrub that bad boy up and you will be fine. CLR or I guess any Bong cleaner will work then use a gun bore cleaning kit to scrub it. (Note: Do not use the cleaning solvent that comes with the gun kit )
poopooshaboo
Any idea where I can get one of said gun cleaning kits?

poopooshaboo
Yeah, my piece didn't come with a stem cleaner/pipe cleaner thingy so I've sort of been improvising. It obviously hasn't worked too well.
