RayVer
so my friend from my hometown got her first hookah and ordered the 12-pack (50g each) sampler pack from Al-waha on HC.I went ahead and ordered the same to try it out (it was real cheap) and figured it would be a great oppurtunity to review some products on the forum. So far I've smoked 3 of the sampler boxes and they suck. Flavors are way off, strong chemical taste, etc. Anyone else experience this?
SafeSearchOff
its been proven.the smaller the amount of shisha in a package is directly related to quality.thus, 1kg > 250g > 100g > 50g
.ryan
When/How was it proven? I'm curious.
ZenSilk
Yessssssssssssssssssss. I agree with the topic very much.Even with some AF 50 grams i have (mint, grape, strawberry), the flavor is really lacking.
SafeSearchOff
the less shisha, generally the less juices there will be. more shisha = more juice = better.ask eric, mush, anyone who runs a lounge or makes shisha.
RayVer
okay that makes sence. the question now is why would they put less juices in smaller packages? Shouldn't it all come from same batchas far as what I got, it looks juicy...in fact real juicy but the flavor is wayyy off. In fact I havn't smoked one that taste like the flavor. All so far have a strange chemical taste.
.ryan
I see. Now to find a 5kg tub of my favourite shisha.
RichL
i think it's more a problem with al waha not being very good and less that it's batchy. waha in general is very lame. i've tried most the flavors and only a few were worth the money (after nine, memories, banana split). Zildjian
yea not sure about that whole 1k>250 etc etc. Example: AF Grape tastes the same in a 50g as it does in a 250g. And that taste friggin rocks by the way. maybe just quality of the batch? not sure what to tell you do

rbyers
The only al-waha I got was in 50g boxes and I can tell you that I didn't enjoy it as much as I enjoy fumari or al fahker. Alwaha is the nasty.
RayVer
okay so now I know I wasn't the unluckiest person ever to get repeat bad batches of 50g sample boxes... lolI'll be posting this on the review.

It was nothing to right home about.Having said that i've recently had some really nice 50g boxes of al fakhir which were just lovely JD
EternalSoil
same thing happened to me. but mine was with Starbuzz and 100g bags. white peach tasted like Windex (not good) and the kiwi was good for a little bit then got too hot or something and changed to some other weird chemical taste. the other three flavors were fine though (Margarita, X on the beach, and white grape). i always thought that the companies mixed up like 100 kilos of shisha and split it all up till i noticed thatt he 50g boxes were not as good. ASUSEAN1
try putting the shisha in the fridge with al waha.. i never really do it but I was smoking some al waha at a friends who had it in the fridge and i usually not a huge fun of plain strawberry shisha (usually mix in some lemon) and this was not bad... Blueorb
I have ordered a few 50g Al Fakher samplers recently. All of them except the Melon tasted bad. They were lacking flavour and tasted of plastic. Maybe the samples were old or maybe the air had got to them, or maybe they were contaminated by the plastic bags imparting a taste to the shisha. What I do know is that the sealed 250g tub of Al Fakher was superb. So, make sure you buy sealed shisha in larger quantities that are in date from reputable dealers! Stay away from the 50g samplers in plastic bags with a home made sticker on saying that the shisha is a particular brand.
lemmiwinks
I had a legit 50 g orange... But that's the only Al Waha I've had.
kitefanatic
I've had experience with both the Al Waha tubs, and 50g boxes, and I must admit that the tubs are much better. As mentioned before, it is probably a juice issue.
