Cleaning A New Nammor

Recommended Posts

I'd run some water and lemon juice down it and slosh it about for a bit. I just blew thru it really hard and just smoked it. Very little added taste actually, didn't affect the shisha at all. Second time around it was virtually gone and I'm pretty sure it'll be gone next session.

i might just have to do soap and water, i dont even think i can find baking soda and i dont have lemons on me.

andyone know if like cascade dish detergent would work if i rinsed it really well, and then maybe rinsed it down with a shot or two of alcohol watered down?

Just smoke out of the thing smile.gif

The taste fades fast. Try something with a really good basey flavour.

I've had my Nammor for a couple weeks now, and I can tell you that the plastic taste isn't going to go away just smoking Nakhla Double Apple and AF Grape. I've also washed out the sucker with lemon and lime to no avail. My final courses of action will be using baking soda, trying vinegar, and using a stronger tobacco (Nakhla Zaghloul possibly).

I've never experienced that "plastic" taste from nammor hoses.

Every plastic hose I get I first run warm water... then run a lemon/water mix..blow it out...and run warm water again. Repeat twice and the taste should not be present.

One time I ran out of lemon juice and was cleaning a vase...so I thought I was smart, and put some baking soda to finish up my mix. I made a hookah volcano. happy.gif
