GolovA
OK. So. Let me first load you with a ton of information and slowly but surely lead you to the point of this post, guys. Modern airplanes (especially fighter jets) can withstand a large amount of abuse. However, the pilot can only tolerate a certain degree of overloading, which is measured in G’s before he passes out. Thus, a human being becomes the weakest part of the fighter jet! ) To counteract the effect of the increased gravitational load, a pilot’s suit is made up of small tubular fibers that are filled with a liquid. When the Gravitational pull increases, the liquid in the tubes creates a pressure that doesn’t let the blood flow away from the brain of the pilot, thus, preventing passing out on extremely forceful maneuvers. The liquid in the tubes is also used to circulate and either heat or cool the pilot. Now, with that being said (the long and confusing part is over, believe it or not), I present to you the Anti-G Hookah Hose Concept! J) It’s a hose, with micro tubular layering inside, that circulates a cooling substance. That in turn, cools the smoke even further – after it leaves the base! Cool huh? =] I made this post so we can share some weird, maybe bizarre inventions for or moderations to Hookahs. Any cool ideas?

camelflage
i was actually talking to spoon about something like this last night. a way to cool the smoke even further in the hose. micro-tubing in the hose would definitely work, but i am wondering about two things:1. what method would be used to circulate the cold water?2. what kind of weight increase are we talking about in the hose?super small diameter hose wouldnt allow for much liquid weight, but you would also run the risk of freezing up and blocking the line if you were able to get the water really cold. maybe just micro-tubing that has water in it that you toss in the freezer and freeze like one of those cooler packs. wouldnt have the advantage of a maintained cooling like a circulator, but would be cooling at least for the first while. In any case, the weight would not matter - remember - we are making a one hellava-expensive Hookah. So, we'll put an inducter coil along the length of the hose and levitate it on a magnetic cushion.About circulation now - same thing as with computer cooling water systems - Circulating pump. Really small - will not even add any soun whatsoever!

Cheese//
Howsabout using liquid nitrogen?Like some PC gaming pros use to cool their rigs.
Mountain
It actually wouldn't be too hard if you had a pump sitting in a big insulated bucket of ice water with thin plastic tubes coming out, wrapping around the base and up to the hose itself then back into the bucket. The problem would be attaching it to the hose and the whole setup so it's still flexible and relatively light. Also, I think if you cooled the hose with liquid nitrogen it would be stiff from the cold depending on what it's made of. It'd be great for those long sessions where all the ice melts in the base before you're done smoking.
EternalSoil
Put your hose in the freezer after washing it. for about 15-25 mins into your session (most in the first 10) you will have really cold smoke.I supposes if you had multiple washable hoses yuo could just switch it out when it warmed up.OR! cut 2 holes in your freezer and make your own hose and make it really really long and have it coil up in your freezer keeping it cold and cooling the smoke!Or just put ice in the base and manage heat better =)

dude3516
what about a hose insert?? Long flexible rod with a T shape at the end...just stick it in the freezer, take the tip off your hose and run it through there, and use a salene solution that won't freeze but will reach freezing temps.....boom shakalaka ya'll
