Just A Question

Recommended Posts

well after a little over a year my little hookah finally gave out. So I came to ask what would all of you would suggest as a good hookah note it's not really my choice too much on this one my girls pretty much calling the shots on this but some help would be much appreciated. the basic rules I should follow are we want a rotator, we hoped to find a two hose but that is slightly harder than originally thought more is fine though, and she wants it to be less than or around 130 dollars. any help you, guys and gals could give would be much appreciated.

I suggest just get a good hookah. Then if you want a rotator just get a turn table like a lazy suzan (they have them at odd lots), and BAM you have a nice rotating hookah that wiill not stop rotating.

And this is perfect, then you aren't stuck with a rotating crap-shute of rusty death. tongue.gif

Just curious... why is she set on a rotator... and don't YOU wear the pants? wink.gif

idk she just wants one that rotates so that if we ever have friends over we dont have to worry about it tipping as much (our friends are not the most careful of ppl wink.gif ) it doesn't have to be a rotator she would just prefer one.... and yea BUT the last one was my choice so this time its hers.

Tell ehr not to buy a rotator. They tilt, they are boring to look at, more than one hose is useless, the base is very thin metal, it will come shipped with alot of dings, water gets under the glass vase part and rusts, the base feels like tin, they are no fun to clean, they wiggle while you try to hit, the hose wiggles out of the grommets quickly (all the grommets i tried..), they are overpriced.

Those are just a few of the downsides.

Well, get a GOOD hookah (KM/Egyptian, Syrian) and just place it on a lazy susan with some non-slip cabinet liner (or protective hookah base cover). There's your rotator. smile.gif

Here's a very nice 26" Syrian from PH:

I actually own a Rotator and i dont consider myself someone who thinks its awesome just because it spins around. I'v had mine for about 10 months and it still hits and works like a champ. Better smoke than any of my friends and the bars i go to (This could be because of my masterful bowl/coal setups). Yea there are some downsides that are kind of annoying but they NEVER fall over!! Even though it tilts and leans to the side mine has yet to fall over, it still is a little scary when someone passes the hose and the whole thing swings with a pretty big force, it might look like its gonna fall but its not biggrin.gif We have knocked over like bottles and cans swinging the hose but thats about it.

Screwing the top shaft to the round bowl can be kind of annoying but cleaning it is easy as hell. Umm im done talking for know so sorry everyone for going the opposite way on this discussion....
