Bushbr
QUOTE (MechAnt @ Oct 30 2007, 06:23 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Him and Bushbr Anyway, SB is a very forgiving brand and easy to manage heat so you wont have much trouble. The only trouble you'll have is seeing in front of you cause the smoke is so damn thick!Wat?!?! come on! this is my FIRST post on this thread. give me some credit, I may be a little overzealous, but i don't post 30 times on one thread. As for the order: Sounds pretty good. don't have personal experience with SB, but I've heard good things. hope all goes well, keep us posted

Blueorb
Just recieved the coals from my uk supplier along with a 50g sample of Al waha double apple and Al Fakher apricot. The coals are absolutly great. Easy to light, stay lit without any difficulty, give off good heat and remain intact, so ash not a problem. Also no nasty taste like the quick lights.AF Apricot...... Not so good. Weak taste with plastic undertones. I am begining to wonder if my recent 50g orders are either out of date or that the taste is somehow altered by putting into platic bags? I got a feeling that the samples might just be old. My recent AF Stawberry that I ordered was horrible, tasteless and plasticy.Al waha Double apple........Ok smoke, but very little flavour. Not sure if the nicotine is higher in this stuff than AF, but it left me feelng nauseous after a few pulls. All in all, begining to get disapointed with recent shisha samples, so lets hope that the starbuzz will impress. I cant wait for that and my funnel bowl to arrive.Oh well, at least the coals were worth the money!
Johnny_D
Sounds about right.Old crap tobacco I have been told that a lot of the uk retailers rely on folks bringing back produce from the middle east. It's too damn risky to try and import lots of tobacco. So it's family and friends of the online retailers who bring back stuff. So it's probably 2nd or 3rd time sold from the manufacturer's. Whereas our US brothers can buy it [allmost] direct.Al waha is not great at the best of times. Also - what coals. Pic or brand would be good.JD

When I bought the al fakher plum, it was a 250g tub. The flavour of this is so much better than any other shisha I have bought.. All the 50g are such a let down really. I feel like I have wasted ££££.

Blueorb
Order just arrived! Thanks to MN hookah, my order arrived safe and sound in the uk!The Tangiers bowl I ordered is not the phunnel bowl, I ordered the wrong one, however, it still has a lip. I tried to use the scallis mod with it but I don't think they are designed to work together. First impressions of the bowl are fantastic. You can really see the quality of these things compared with the standard egyptian bowls.Regarding the starbuzz shisha, well, It smelt fantastic out of the can. I loaded up the new bowl and............Well, not sure about the sweet apple flavour. I don't know if I will be ordering this one again, however, this is real quality stuff compared with all those crappy 50g samples I have been trying. The smoke was smooth, long lasting and flavourful, even though I am unsure about whether I like the flavour or not. The clouds of smoke were the biggest I have ever seen. Wow, the room was fogged out!So, guess i need to do some research beore ordering my next batch, to make sure I pick the right flavours next time! It is designed to work much like a phunnel but is used with non Tangiers tobacco. The mod is not used with it. Take a look at this for a Super Chief How To.
