Mya Vortex Cracked After 4 Uses

While setting up a delicious blend of Tangiers Orange Soda and Bubble Gum in my phunnel bowl and my Mya Vortex tonight I made a heartbreaking discovery.

I was screwing the stem gently into the base, since i know the glass is fairly thin, and I looked down and saw 2 inch long stress fractures coming down from where the base meets the stem. I got this less than a week ago from MN Hookah, and sadly it already looks like its on its last leg.

Does anyone know if Mya Saray will do anything about this, replace the base or anything similar. It sucks to get a nice hookah and have it wear out on you so quickly. If anyone knows your help is appreciated. Thanks.

That sucks man. My friend has had his vortex for about 6 months now and no problems so far.

Try contacting them and see what they say.

Tarik's helped me out quite a bit with it, gave me a number to call tonight right after I contacted him. Going to call Mya tomorrow and see what they can do about it.

That really sucks. I have had mine for months and haven't noticed any thing like that. Now you are making me want to go check and just make sure mine is ok.

But what happened to the Tangiers?!?!?

I think they should replace it. Another reason I don't like threaded jars. Too much stress. I've also recently stopped being as fond of the hookahs where the tray is attached under a screw-on lule.
