Irish and Scottish immigrants carried versions of the tradition to North America in the nineteenth century. Other western countries embraced the holiday in the late twentieth century. Halloween is now celebrated in several parts of the Western world, most commonly in Ireland, the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, and the United Kingdom and occasionally in parts of Australia and New Zealand."Bemoan your neighbors to the North/West

ghostofdavid
Halloween is by far my favorite holiday. I did not dress up this Halloween as I had my own thing to do. I did go to a party in a several hundred dollar Jedi costume that I borrowed from a friend. It was wicked sweet. I was the fattest Jedi ever seen.I love drinking and watching zombie movies. I love candy. I love horror movies and anything halloween. God bless the Scots-Irish for bringing it to this nation. Mwahha!
