Loki Posted November 2, 2007 Share Posted November 2, 2007 I'm going to order my first hookah soon, but I'd like some advice first.I'll be ordering my stuff from Germany, since the local- and webshops here in the Netherlands are too expensive or don't have what I want.Only problem is that shipping costs will be high, so I want to order everything I need plus some replacement parts.I'll be ordering everything from http://www.shisha-world.com/I'm going for the Mya QT.I'm getting a wind cover, an extra hose adapter and hose.Also I'll need some grommets.. Now here I'm not really sure about what I should get and how many of them.How long does it take them to wear out?Then for the tobacco bowls.. should I get some extra bowls, or is the standard one that comes with the QT enough?Also, do all bowls and hoses fit on all hookahs? Dekon Posted November 2, 2007 Share Posted November 2, 2007 (edited) Hi Loki, no need for a wind cover cause it should come with it (and i've only used mine a handfull of times). Just get 1 extra pair, 2 hose grommets and 1 bowl grommet will do you good . The bowl that comes with the QT is great for starting out easy to set up and doesn't eat shisha like the phunnel . If you can buy some sampler packs with different flavors from different companys (Romman, Al Fahker, Al waha, Havana, Nakhla, I'm pretty sure there are more with cheap 50g baggies.) which should last you about 5 bowls = to 5 hours. Johnny_D Posted November 2, 2007 Share Posted November 2, 2007 Remember.This is a german website and German has some odd rules on the amount of glycarin that is allowed in tobacco [5% MAX]So you will want to order some of there glycarin products, I would suggest teh bahraine honey mix [honey and glycarin] and then add a good amount to your tobacco.JD Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Loki Posted November 2, 2007 Author Share Posted November 2, 2007 Thanks Dekon I ordered apple from 2 different brands, chocomint, coconut, lemon, peach, caramel, and some other flavors.The brands are Nakhla, Al Waha and Serbetli.. I also wanted to try Al Fahker since I heared it's pretty good, but they didn't sell it.Next time I order tobacco I'll buy some bigger packs that I like and also try some more new small packs I'll be sure to make pictures when I get it Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Trying out different brands of tobacco narrows down on the ones that you like the most.EDIT : YOU HAVE A DREAMCAST? . I really wish sega waited a year or two to release the dreamcast. To this day my brother plays it sometimes. We've had it for 8 years and it still works! Of course there are some broken things with it. But hey it's a great console. Well, I can get more glycerin from my dad if I need more, so no problem there.I tried some apple tobacco today.. but I guess I didn't pack it right and the tobacco got burned.. also on an empty stomach it wasn't really a good idea I think.I need to get the hang of it. I'll try again this evening and hope it goes better then. btw, I got these 3 kings coals... what side should be up?
