Alrighty-- So I've been smoking hookah for a while, either at lounges or at my friends houses. So tobacco was already out and in the bowl and lit and going. My most frequented local hookah bar (Anyone in south florida by the way?) taught my the ABCs of caring and setting my hookah up, so I'm clear there. I recently purchased my own 23" 2 hose egyption hookah, really nice. It came with some...interesting...Soex herbal stuff that I'm not to thrilled with. Kind of tastes woody after a while, and am looking to get some good quality tobacco shisha. I saw you guys have a review section but that's a whole lot to go through, so I was just wondering, if, in short, you guys could toss out a few of your favorite brands based on quality and buzz. Maybe flavors to avoid too. Cause I have my personal favorites but I know all brands make that ONE flavor that just doesn't taste right even if it's your all time fav, it just...is wrong.

Anyway, thanks for having this board, looks like it's gonna be a great place to frequent!

pretty much anything starbuzz

if you want a buzz go with Tangiers. Get a phunnel bowl, a wide hose, and some good friends. thats what i recommend

Heya Enayemee, welcome to the forums. I currently live in Doral, FL. As for the flavors and what not, i'm gonna have to go with Al fakher mint, Romman Coconut (amazing thick white fluffy clouds and a hint of coconut). A lot of people are going to say starbuzz, tangiers, and AF white grape. Avoid Al Fakher golden grape like the plague.

i just got a can of starbuzz white peach that i am gonna try next week at my friend's place. it smells juicy as hell. i even put the can on my desk so i can smell it while im on the computer. lol.

Right now I'm pretty much looking for an all around dependable brand. I'm not so hot on grape flavors (which looks like everyone is!) although coconut and peach are high on my list. So as for quality, which out there, for quality is an all around great brand to order so basic flavors from before I start getting specific on who has the best flavors of what?

So far this starbuzz is sounding good. Would I be able to purchase it at a headshop or is online my best bet? What's prices genuinely run? I can't wait to get my camera batteries recharged to share my hookah pictures! I have all the supplies and shit, just not the right stuff I want to smoke but this soex stuff... My cafe gave me some baggies of their stuff but they buy in bulk so it's unlabeled and under the table cause I'm a regular.

starbuzz sells for $20 for 250g everywhere you go. there are a few sites that have 3x250g specials for $50.
never stick to just one brand. each brand has their good and bad flavors so do some research in the review section if you want to truly enjoy your smoke.

Starbuzz white peach is some of my favorite shisha ive ever had, and also (if you can find it) fantasia is a great brand, they have alot of unique flavors and are extremely juicy.

I tried Fantasia Margharita today and it was excelent.

as for just buzz Nakhla (sp?) has been the most for me so far in the buzz department, although Nakhla is not big on taste.
