Jarvis
I love tea. I just found a ton of one of my favorite flavors (Tazo Passion) and wondered what it would be like in my base.I filled it entirely with the tea I made, cooled, and a little bit of ice.I smoked Al Waha Honey (I figured if it went well in my tea, it would be good in my hookah )It was pretty great! I could REALLY taste the tea in the smoke...almost exactly the same flavor as a cup of tea with some honey in it...yum!The smoke was a little thinner than usual, but for some reason or another the buzz was a little bit stronger...the base looked beautiful filled with the deep red tea.Either way, it was a delicious combination....highly recommend. boulderkid303
Sounds reallllly good! I love putting cool-aid grape in the base with Al-Fakher grape-AMAZING!
.ryan
My favourite tea is mint green tea. It's just regular green tea with a bunch of mint leaves and some sugar added in.I wonder if putting some sweetened green tea in the base while smoking some mint shisha will give the same taste? Oh well, off to go experiment.
ZenSilk
You're cool. I like you. Tea is the best.(Peppermint tea and Af Lemon is amazing....)Ohh, and if you've ever had Rubios tea, it's african Red Tea, it's rather creamy and earthy..... Mix it with any flavor. DAMN. ninjacamel86
It seems like from your post that you put the tea where the liquid goes. Have you ever considered trying mixing the contents of a tea bag with some shisha? The first time I tried it, it blew me away! If you try it out, just put maybe a pinch and a half of the tea in with the shisha, otherwise the coal will burn the tea. Its great!Passion Tazo seems like it would be really good mixed with some strawberry. It seems like they would pair pretty well. If you want to try something adventerous, I'd mix some passion with some lemon shisha. They're both kinda tart, but in a different way. It seems like it would be an interesting pair. If you try it out, let me know how it works!I personally love to mix a little Tazo Calm with some orange/mandarin shisha. The tea really helps add to the chill effect! Its a great combo! Also, try putting the rest of the contents of the bag in with the water (you might want a diffuser for that too tho). It really adds to the flavor!enjoy!NinCam

thecyrax
I try to drink persian tea with every session, but with the summer tea it makes it kind of difficult.I think tea is the ultimate compliment to a finely packed bowl of shisha.I can't wait till winter rolls around! Snoopy1966
Tea is the best thing to drink whilst smoking your Hookah. I am a huge fan of the Moroccan tea also. I make it with Chinese Gunpowder green tea, fresh mint, and lots of sugar!!! Masala Chai is also another great tea, and creamy oolong tea is just out of this world!! Giant Ninja Robot
Moroccan mint yay! I love the tea I get from my work, especially the mint melange, roibus, raspberry infusion, and bedtime, I also keep some oolong, chinese gunpowder, and wild cherry looseleaf tea on hand. I loooove me some tea.Tried mint melange with grape shisha and it was a crappy combo but since it was SB and the flavor ran out so quick you could really taste the tea. I used iced tea i made btw and ive heard it works well to put the teabags themselves in and let the tea brew as you smoke. gotta try that.
sss8789
Moroccan mint is really good, I love teas I think I have more tea than shisha and I like to make my own mixes... Japanese cherry green tea is also very delicious

Spotless
Interesting that this thread has resurfaced because just yesterday I smoked fline red tea that big boss sent me a while back; and half way through the bowl we decided to mix it up a bit. The flavor was dead on, I thought I was drinking tea but I wanted a boost so we added in AA pomegranate, with some Adagio Pomegranate Black leaves into the bowl. The flavor was strong and thick, I love having tea leaves in the bowl it really combines with the caffeine from the fline nicely.

I just dropped the bag in the water and it worked but I obviously didn't get any caffeine or anything.
Apets22
How do you go about doing this? Brew the tea separately and put it in the base? Or do you just drop the Tea bags in the base? And spotless, you actually put the tea leaves in the bowl? Didnt it just burn?

cigarron
Like tea??? Nakhla Earl Grey. Tea flavor is so strong tea in the base would be superfluous. Lemon or orange on the other hand might be a good compliment.
TizaNabi
My favourite tea is "Earl Grey". Once and I mean once I smoked Nakhla's Earl Grey shisha. I love 99% of all Nakhla and smoke them often bought locally all over, but the special line of Nakhla are all very strong. I like them all but the Earl Grey is like drinking 5 cups flavour at once. The others in that line like choco-mint, cinamon, cardemon etc. are strong but great.I guess I'll have to enjoy Earl Grey only in my cup.

Much prefer it over coffee, and instead of drinking water I drink unsweetened iced tea by the gallons. With all the antioxidents it's really good for you no matter how you serve it. Adding it to hookah base water seems like a natural though I haven't tried it personally yet. On a slight thread jack the job that has been killing me (and keeping me from my hookahs as much as I'd like) is about to get notice tomorrow that I've had enough. Accepted an offer from another company today, employee owned, at a 22% pay raise to do for a couple projects what I've been doing for the fourteen I currently have on my plate. So very shortly, you're all going to be hearing me yell............."I'm baaaaaaaaaaack!"'RaniEdit: Ooops! Just checked my math.... With my car allowance, gas allowance, etc., it all totals a 25% increase...... Woo Hoo!
