mushrat
We'd actually discussed that very contraption a while back... Too bad it only comes in the Egyptian style bowls, and I have a Syrian....
John Deere
I once saw a contraption the converted syrian stems to egyptian, I cant for the life of me remember where I saw it though.

afrdzak
they used something at the lounge I went to in Las Vegas. That's the first time I've seen them. My opinions on these: Pluses: protects against wind, helps protects against spilling coal if hookah tips, and keeps heat in. Minuses: gives you less control over coals, gives you NO control of holes, and one extra part to worry about. Minuses outweights Pluses in my book. Stew
yeah, I'd like to know, I'm using the basic coal screens and the dip they have to them is about a 1/8th inch deep. this one looks a little more straight across... I just wanna know of I should get one or if I should stay with my normal bowl/screen/windcover setup.
mushrat
You get one stevie? Useless...you want a cheap windcover? Use what the guy at the market here said they all use...a large tin can with the ends cut off...a few holes in the side..viola...wind screen :-)
