Back Up Hookahs

A few days ago I stripped the screw on my stem of my abyss hookah. I ordered a replacement but was wondering if anyone uses replacement hookahs if something happens to their usual one. If so which one do you use?

I have two hookahs from moving up from a single to a triple (gave away my double)

but man honestly id be pleased i have a backup something even a single since i usually smoke with friends.. thank god i have never had the horrid event described above.


When i wanna smoke i need to for relaxation.. i can go weeks without smoking but tonight i needed the hookah, and im happy its here lol

I have three hookah's, each for different occasions. I have a three hose for when I have guests, a small single for smoking on my own in my room, and a cheap large single for when I feel like going on adventures with my hookah, and also as a backup. I am thinking of building another party hookah to replace the old one I scrapped due to friends using it for things one should never use one for, or at least someone else's. Back when I first started smoking, I had only one three hose that I used for all of that, but it was constantly being damaged, so I would have to wait for parts to arrive to fix it. Ever since then I have stockpiled them, because I don't know if I could handle not having a hookah right now.

I've got three as well. I use my AF 26" for everyday smoking. A Social Smoke 28" is put away, and I use my Mya QT for travel. They are all single hose. Edited November 5, 2007 by The Messiah

I have a 26" Egyptian that I pull out for company (or to take to friends), a Mya QT (whose base just cracked-a replacement is on the way), and I've just ordered an acrylic Mya Mini to use for an everyday hookah that I don't have to be as careful with. I personally like the smaller hookahs for daily use as they are (IMO) easier to clean.

i'm looking in to picking up one of the mini-acrylic hookahs soon, so when i do i'll have my big single hose egyptian for when i'm chillin with people, and my small mini-acrylic for when i'm chillin by myself or when i want to travel...so i guess i'd have a backup for when either pipe broke, but hopefully neither will break, so i should be OK

i smoke the KM if its just me or if theres a few people over. on rare occasions i might pull out a 2 or 3 hoser, but usually i smoke from the same pipe all the time.

I have three as well also. I use my Bambino(small) the most because it is easier to clean and use my Vortex27") also. Just not as much and I just received my new 32" tangerine egytian. Haven't got a chance to smoke out of it yet.

I have 4 hookahs now... the Stargate is relegated to the closet in its case, so I only use 3 of them. The two Syrians (Social Smoke and J&R) are my regular smokers. I change them up depending on my mood. They both smoke great. I guess my "backup" would be the little green MYA acrylic one I got for free from H-S when I bought the Stargate. I like it too.

yeah i actually built a pretty small hookah (hopefully ill get pictures in the how to thread) and i use that for when its just me i use that or my qt for travel qt if its two people and my tall 4hose oddessy egyptian for more people...i dont like sharing a hose
