Skitalets
So I'm a minister in a group that is very "high church" -- incense, bells, all that stuff. And I ran across a link today that connected that up with my love of hookah, strangely.I know a lot of places that use incense for church use 3 Kings coals, and of course many hookah smokers use them as well. Today I saw a post that linked to this site -- apparently 3 Kings sells church incense! I'm told that 3 Kings incense is actually used at Vespers at St Peter's Basilica in the Vatican! Not sure if anyone will care, but I was really amused by the convergence between those two parts of my life. I was especially surprised that 3 Kings is so highly regarded for its incense!

Someone I know just wrote an article advocating churches to use natural coals -- so I responded by plugging Exotica. :-P

mushrat
I used to use quicklite coals years ago to burn natural copal, frankensense, and Amber incense crystals. You light the coal, drop a few resin crystals in the top dished out part, fill the room with smoke. Far better than stick incense.
ghostofdavid
That is why 3 Kings have wisemen on them.. the whole navitity story thing. I have no idea how they turning into hookah devices. I want to pat that guy on the back. At one point in my life, I was a "minister" too. I just graduated from an undergrad Seminary this year. 3 Kings coals work especially well with "coned" incense.
