So I was smoking out of my recently acquired SS hookah, and I noticed smoke coming out of the base of the hose in between the wood thingy that goes in the hookah and the fluffy puff ball mabobber. It looks like the puff ball thingy might have just come unglued from the wood thingy, but I don't really know... Would it probably work if I just krazy glued it or something?

My other option would be amking a home depot hose, but I can't really think of a good way to attach the mouthpiece and the other wood thingy (end piece) to a plastic hose and have it be airtight... Unless I got a hose w/diameter smaller that the inside of the wood pieces... But even then it doesn't seem like glue would hold it in very well... Thoughts? Ideas?

Hot Glue Guns can make damn near ANYTHING airtight. At least thats how I made my hose. The only problem with that option is, I havn't seen a homemade hose yet that is flexible in any way.

laugh.gif Seriously, I vote for adding that phrase to the "technical hookah phrases" jargon!

I second that motion!

Give SS a ring... Send Ali a PM. They just might send u a new hose. Actually, I am sure they will.

I sent them a message via their website, that would be really cool if they did.

Just a quick update; Social Smoke did send me a new hose, free of charge. I have to admit I'm impressed because it had been about a month after I bought the hookah when I emailed them, so that was cool of them. Apparently the package got to my dorm today, but unfortunately I left this morning so I won't get it for the next week or so... sad.gif

Props to Social Smoke!
