Since this is an internet based forum, why not an area to talk about computers and such. Basic stuff for the old farts. There are plenty of you out there who are very talented. I'm wanting to do a motherboard/processor swap and I could use some suggestions/advice on the matter. I'm sure a lot of us fit into this category. I'd rather keep it in the family here than go somewhere else for advice. I doubt any of us would purposely mislead each other. Well, maybe if you're a certain accountant.... Mr. B- my advice on that would be total upgrade time. the way tech is today by the time one thing needs updated the whole system could use it. if you are going to upgrade the MB and cpu then your memory is going to be dated. building your own system is very easy to do even for old farts like us anymore you just put everything together and put your OS disk in and your done.
