I would presume that it means changing the temperature of the shisha by storing it under specific circumstances... But in this context, do you mean to make it colder, more humid, warmer, or otherwise?Also are you just using water in your basin? For licorice, a black tea base would go a good ways, I think, to making it smoother. You could also try a diffuser (DIY or purchased).
