the only way to get a chat going is to have a chat intergrated into the forum, either at the very top or the very bottom of the page in a frame and who ever is viewing the page is an active member of the chat unless its turned off in their prefs.

all that has to be done is have a flash irc chat on the page Edited by clickhea

well we need to get the rest of the mods to push it too.. it seems like whenever there is a good idea to upgrade the forum and the mods push it for a month or two than the admins get up and help
