manntis
A bubble-blowing game you can play with your hookah. You'll need: laser pointerdish soapA small plate, or a jar lid turned upside downA tube about 1" in diameter The large plastic tubes used as the nozzle end of a fish tank cleaning kit works well, though some use a toilet paper tube. I find the latter doesn't make a good surface for blowing bubbles.Pour some dish soap into the small plate or jar lid, enough that you can dip the end of the tube in a few millimeters to get a film of soap over the end.Take a pull from your hookah, getting a good mouthful of smokey vapour. Bring the non-soaped end of the tube to your mouth and gently exhale, just like you're blowing bubbles - because you are! only this time, you're blowing large bubbles full of hookah smoke.Don't get greedy or the bubble will burst. At first, try for ones about 15 centimeters (6 inches) in diameter.Gently raise the tube from horizontal and, with al ight flick, send the bubble rising. It'll sink quickly, so have the laser pointer nearby or have a friend ready with it.As the bubble hangs in the air or is gently descending, shine the laser pointer at it. The whole bubble will light up like a smokey crystal ball out of a Disney movie or something. When the bubble hits an object (or the floor), or bursts in mid-air, it releases the puff of hookah smoke. If it does this on the floor you get a sort of inverted mushroom cloud effect that's almost as neat as the crystal ball trick itself.

smarthobo
Water/soda bottles work the best... just cut the bottom off of the bottle, and then put the lip of the bottle (where you normally drink from) in the soap, and blow through the bottomI like the laser idea though, never thought of it - my friend has a green laser, so I'll remember to ask him to borrow it the next time I see him
