Question To The Guys Who Don't Only Smoke Hookah

Recommended Posts

BohoWildChild: actually breathing air is what causes our bodies to grow old as far as I know. Oxygen in general is not a good thing to be breathing (that's why you see the big Antioxidant labels on some health things, like vitamin C). But then again it's not like we have a choice wink.gif

To get back on topic, I've received my hookah on Tuesday and haven't smoke a cig since then. Granter, at the end of the day, after I'm through with lectures, etc. I am pretty eager to set up my hookah and enjoy a bowl of shisha. But I don't get crawings during the day at all, and no temptation to light up - my neighbour/friend is a heavy smoker and keeps offering me cigs but I haven't accepted one yet. Besides that, as I'm typing there is half a pack of Gauloise Blondes lying close by and I'm not thinking about lighting up.
But then again I basically reduced my cig intake to 2-3/day before getting my hookah.

Anyway, to everyone trying to quit - try to reduce and then substitute shisha for cigs. It's a lot better, speaking from a few days' experience smile.gif No nasty aftertaste in my mouth, and my clothes don't smell like smoke - awesome!

PS: What's more, I'm actually under a fair amount of stress right now: exams, essays being due in the near future, etc. So, if anything, I should be smoking more.

-If you get him smoking AF, he'll be back on cig's in like five minutes. If you get him going on tangiers/starbuzz, it should fill every bit of his nicotine addiction. I used to smoke cigs, like a pack a day, now i only smoke like 5 cigs a day and thats because i work at a restaurant and i get like 2-minute smoke breakes. I couldn't even set-up a hookah/burn a coal in that time.

Whats wrong with AF? ARE YOU NUTS???? I hate you for saying that angry.gif

he probably means that al fakher has a low nicotine content, unlike tangiers which has a very high one.

I was at about half a pack a day started smoking hookah instead once a day for a few days and i was clear. Its good for getting past the hardest few days then the rest is up to you.

Also if your smoking alone burning the shisha a little hotter so its somewhat harsh also helps with cravings a bit. Edited by dtab
