Zildjian Posted November 18, 2007 Share Posted November 18, 2007 So when first starting tangiers, with my noobie throat, i realized its a bit rough to start tangiers going well enough to smoke smoothly. So what i did was make a vacuum like mushrat, but I love this thing. Here are some pictures and my walkthrough.This is an Ozark Trail air-mattress inflater. My first air-mattress used an inflater that used side vents to gather air, this one is nice because it uses a front air hole and a back one. So I use the side that sucks air.I use my Mya hose grommet on the endAnd attach it to the hookah and let it run for roughly a minute. Then it smokes like a dream!!this is what the whole setup looks like. The thing is the most comfortable air mattress I have ever been on. it even has a built in pillow it is money. I got it from a wal mart in north carolina for $35. Canon Posted November 18, 2007 Share Posted November 18, 2007 a better way of doing that is putting the vaccume on the end of the bowl. it works faster that way and it doesnt warm up your water. they do that at the hookah bar here in town, all the bowls start off pretty easily. Lazy would be me asking people to pack my bowls, or in this case, ask them to get tangiers started for me. Rather, I opt for being comfortable, not hacking a lung out, and enjoying my time. I have no idea why you call this lazy...the thing isnt smoking for me! Learn to read please before you post something like that. He is doing it because he experiences harsher smoke at the beginning of Tangier sessions. So, instead of sucking in all that harsh smoke, he lets a vacuum do it. That is not being lazy.
