I just got a 250 g tub of guava layalina from Social Smoke and it expires 12/2007

so first of all, what do these expiration dates mean?

and second, should i be pissed that they sent me such old tobacco?

should i contact social smoke and complain?

as much as shisha still seems to go past the exp date, I'd still complain.

Most companies put a 2 years from production date as the expiration date. I've never understood exactly how the 2 years is figured. Could be they just all agreed on a time span and went with it. If the tobacco is still moist and I know layalina is usually pretty wet, then I wouldn't worry too much about it. But I might call them and ask about sending you a tub with that close a date just to see what they say.
