6 Flavor Recommendations

Recommended Posts

Over the last few years, I have had a pretty hit or miss relationship with purchasing shisha. I have had some dry spells where everything I purchased tasted like ass to me, and I have had periods where I have purchased nothing by godly tobacco. Sometime in December, I will be purchasing 6 250 gram boxes, all or most of flavors I have no experience with, to expand my horizons. So I spent a few hours pouring over the review boards, and eventually I came to the realization that I was getting no where fast.

So, I put my fate in the hands of the community. My tastes tend to lean toward enjoying a sweet, perhaps sometimes sour fruit flavor, and a mellow coco bean flavor in your coffee, chocolate, cappuccino, etc flavors. I absolutely despise that flowery taste, in any shape or form. I like strong flavor and strong buzz, both with and without the tobacco flavor, but I also balance between them.

So what 6 flavors would you suggest, and I am talking shishas of truly epic nature. I was leaning toward getting some starbuzz, I actaully have never purchased any of that.

Here is what I have smoked in a nutshell:

A few unreadable foreign brands from a local smoke shop, quite a bit of Nahkla, A few Romman flavors, A few AF flavors (mostly repeat purchases of strawberry), Almost every Layalina flavor (not a fan, but I got a really big sampler. Never again.) A few Tangiers F-line flavors (but none of the non-f-line), and a smattering of Al Waha flavors. Edited by Geiseric

If you hate floral, stay away from Kashmir anything. It's not floral, per se, but the best thing I think I can equate it to smell-wise is "grandma's perfumed soap".

Starbuzz won't do much in the actual buzz department, but some flavors are really good. A good fruity mix flavor is X on the Beach. Non-fruity flavors they make that are really good are Pumpkin Pie and Irish Cream.

AF Golden Black Grape has a strong sweet flavor, and overall is pretty good (although I contend it tastes more like blackcurrant than grape). You can get tired of it after a while though. Edited by BrotherBuford
