Should Tangiers Make A Washed Brand?

I like the taste of Tangiers but I can never smoke it by myself. Unwashed tobacco (i.e nakla and tangy) makes me queasy. The first time I smoked it was with my roomies. Three guys, 1 cig smoker, 2 non. My noncig roomie and I were about to throw up from the insane buzz but we loved the flavor. Naturally my cig roomie loved it. Does anyone feel the same way?! You have vomited after smoking Tangiers? I have had some pretty mad buzzes, and light nicotine poisoning to the point of passing out, but never have I vomited. Wow. That is truly epic.

too much competition in washed tobacco.. starbuzz, fumari, layalina (i kno it is not washed but they might as well say it is), al fakher

think about it.. the only other non washed tobacco that competes is phoarohs and not many people smoke tht..

expect tangiers to get better too. Basically there are 4 types of tobacco cut.. basically what part of the plant they use. most companies use the 2nd or 3rdbest. Tangiers has been using the second best cut like every other company but Eric jus ordered the best cut

Flavour is sweet. I Love it.

I was used to smoking just reguluar ass Smiles shisha, so i wasn't being hit to hard by it. My brother brought home 500 g of Tangiers and i figured it was the same thing, so I packed me a bowl, lite a coal and started smoking 'normaly...'

My definition of normal changed that night.

i agree tangiers is the "Perfect" smoke i mean it gives off big clouds and has great flavor but the buzz is over doing it especially when smoking a bowl on your own, So yeah i definitely think they should get this in a washed form. Thats a solid idea. good post

The notion isn't that Tangiers should switch to making washed tobacco... but that they should introduce a new line of washed tobacco.

It seems to be one of the brands more open to experimentation, and I for one would be enthusiastic to trying the unparalleled flavour and strength of Tangiers in a new way.

By the way, has anyone tried Tangiers' schnozzberry flavour? I've only found it at H-S and I don't want to risk paying the taxes to order from them, but if it's really excellent I might take the chance. Plus, you know. The schnozzberries taste like schnozzberries.

ok, so i was actually just gonna post this exact topic right now.

Here is my view.

See, some people on here cannot smoke Tangiers, for various reasons. But, as we all know, the people who can LOVE the stuff. Like me. I cannot find any brand that can even realtively CLOSELY match the flavor strength and realness of each flavor of Tangiers. It's impossible. Starbuzz is too candy-ish and the flavor isn't as strong. AF is relatively close with their White Grape and their Mango, but still to much like candy.
That's why, if Eric created a washed line of Tangiers tobacco, people would go CRAZY over the stuff. I do not like the Buzz that Tangiers offers, HELL, i hate buzzes in general. That's why i don't smoke it all the time, but i truly wish i could. Washed Tangiers would be one of the greatest products offered in the Hookah world, if not the greatest. It would beat out anything in Flavor, smoke quality, longevity, looks...It would be completely amazing.
And just imagine how much much money he would make. I would buy wWashed Tangiers exclusively no matter what the price. I know most people on this forum would do the same.

Schnozzberry (aka Mystery Meat) is a very tasty smoke. It's a difficult taste to describe... definitely check it out if you're up for something different. According to Eric, Willy Wonka spoke of snozberries, which are not to be confused with schnozzberries.

I'm not a huge fan of a buzz, but I smoke Tangiers when I want one or it doesn't matter if one hits - like I'm not driving anytime soon, etc. I don't end up with one every time though - it depends on how recently I've eaten, how hydrated I am, and if I got stressed out enough during the day to hit up a cigarette. Generally I smoke Tangiers just for the flavor alone and quit early when the buzz starts to kick in. When I'm determined to avoid any possibility of room spins though, I stick with Starbuzz. Except for some sweet melon Nakla I got with a hookah order, that's it. Tangiers and Starbuzz are all I smoke. I'd drop the high price of Starbuzz for Tangiers washed in a heartbeat.
