Nothing is wrong with it, but the way i see it.. Why not just buy AF and mix it up to create SB flavors?

Sb isn't very true to the flavor they are representing. Take XOTB for example. SMoke it 3 nights in a row, and you will know the taste of sunscreen if you havn't previously figured it out.

Or Blueberry Grape. The blueberry is extremely overpowered by the grape, and the grape is very weak and not as good as AF White Grape.

Or Pumpkin Pie. Yes, it's an amazing flavor, but if Sonthert were to somehow create a pumpkin pie flavor, SB would be raped the HELL out of business.

The flavors are very fake and eventually become unsatisfying when you are a flavor guru as i am.

It doesn't offer a buzz to all those Buzz-Lovers out there.

When up close, the smell is sickening with almost every flavor, this is because of the fakeness and chemical aspects of the flavouring.

I have been smoking only SB for the past couple of weeks. To make a long story short, it's sickening now. The fake flavors are unbearable to my senses.

The onyl thing that keeps me holding on is Che clouds, which i must admit are one of the best.

EDIT: And in regards to Clickhea's statement, the stems are much too common for 20 bucks. I have never found a stem in Tangiers or HookahHookah/Freak, which are much cheaper. Edited by ZenSilk

Starbuzz has the crisp non-nicotine taste.

I don't care whether the flavors are represented realistically or not, as long as it's good to me. Though guava does have a realistic taste, so does canteloupe.

edit: and the pineapple too but that fades quick. Edited by anathema

actually here in germany there's a real starbuzz-hype.

every shisha-forum.de-user knows it, smoked it and only a few don't like it.

i don't like it because of some reasons:

1. the tobacco is washed ... no buzz rolleyes.gif (and i like the buzz)
2. it's too expensive
3. with the exceptions of a few flavors (e.g. guava and banana) the taste is too artificial

4. starbuzz is for girls ... tangiers for men

... the last reason is not meant seriously biggrin.gif

hahaha I see what u mean, tangiers is strong.. I've known people who smoked shisha for years and they get embarassed when I show them tangiers because they can't smoke it all.... For starbuzz X on the beach is a girly flavour ill admit not sure about the others.

I'm beggining to agree with some of you, I've got starbuzz X on the beach... this is my first starbuzz flavour and the more I smoke it the more I hate it? When I first got it.. it was fantastic now I don't bother with it Edited by amnite

Three thoughts:

Starbuzz is a perfectly respectable brand, lots of people like it. There isn't one brand thats all things for all people. People have different tastes.

I think its overpriced, too.

The problem with X on the Beach, is that the primary flavor is a watermelon flavor, but it contains vanillin...like vanilla. This particular flavor seems to be non-soluble in water and builds up when you smoke it repeatedly. A long time ago, that was going to be my watermelon flavor, but that problem developed and I moved along to a new watermelon. That might be ZenSilk's "Sunscreen flavor".

For a long time I have raved about Fumari's quality, but they have changed manufacturing plants in the past couple of years and I haven't tried their newer tobaccos, but I have heard disappointing reviews. I have heard better reviews about Starbuzz, but its not as good as I remember Fumari being...my inclination is that the quality of Fumari isn't as good as it was. I've liked Al Fahker, its distributed world wide, its got some great flavors, its reasonably priced. I would have to go with Al Fahker and then Starbuzz based on people's reactions. How many people say "I hate Al Fahker"? Almost none. You do hear people say "I hate Starbuzz." a lot more frequently. Fumari gets a lot of bad noise for quality control issues...from what I've observed. I really should try some. For unwashed Sham style, I would have to give Nahkla the nod. I hear a lot of negativity about all brands...Starbuzz, Tangiers, Nahkla, Fumari...but not much about Al Fahker...I think you will always find people on both sides of the fence.

my only responce to this is Starbuzz is simple, it's expensive. $20 for a can of it when you cant get most other brands for about half the price. I do buy Starbuzz every once in a while but I do prefer other brands over it.

I think Starbuzz is a great tobacco for beginners...no buzz which is a sometimes a shocker to new users and its easy to get it smoking right.

too much money for what it is.. i can pay half the price for al fakher or layalina and that tastes just as good IMO. plus it is kind of hypocritical to buy/like starbuzz and not have PYH here considerin starbuzz owns it so i jus stay away
