Hey, im thinking of trying either Al Fahker or Romman shisha but i dont want to get both. what are the pros and cons of each?
Romman will give you a stronger buzz and last longer, with slightly better smoke. Al Fahker will taste much better, is far cheaper, and is consistent in the quality of its flavours (by which I mean, from what I've tried and heard Al Fahker flavours are all pretty good, whereas there are some Romman flavours that just taste like shit).

I've tried Romman double apple, chocolate, grape and cinnamon, and Al-Fahker cappucino and grape. I would not order Romman again personally, as I just don't think it's worth the money, and in terms of buzz, smoke, and longevity Tangiers has got it beat seven-ways to Sunday. Out of the two, I strongly recommend Ah Fahker, and can personally attest to the excellence of grape and cappucino.

Also, you'd do well to note that Romman is sold exclusively by Hookah-Shisha.com, so the good reviews it has and the "stats" on their site are not, in my opinion, trustworthy.

I actually think that AF has better smoke quality. Romman is honey-based, AF is glycerine based. A Romman buzz will hurt, an AF buzz will chill. Romman makes a couple great flavors worth trying, Sweet Melon and Good Times. Af are almost all great in my opinion. Af is cheaper, Romman is over-priced. Af Mango is delicious, as is White Grape, People love Esk. Apple (I dont i hate apple shisha), Cinnamon, Watermelon, Strawberry, and the Mint is fantastic.

AF is just a much better buy. Actually, its really cheap if you buy directly from the website, and pimpyourhookah.com used to sell 300 grams for the same price as AFonline sold 250 grams.

i've smoked both romman and AF, and i have to say that AF is a much better tobacco. Its much jucier than romman, and i feel the flavor lasts a lot longer as well. Like Zensilk said, romman's sweet mellon is pretty damn good, but for the price, i wouldn't buy it again. AF's cola is really good, and people have been raving about their grape and mango flavors as well, so i'd go w/AF if i were you

what would u say is the best site to buy al fakher off of? also i have a post from another topic but no one will answer it:

"I actually have a question about natural coals. I use lemon wood coals and the first thing that I noticed was that they are really odd shappen. When I light them I can never get a side of them that steadily sits on the bowl or covers any of the top because there will be like two points that rest on the aluminum foil and the rest of it is like elevated. Is there a tip for getting natural lights to work better?"
