ZenSilk
Yes we all have. I would try acclimating it, leaving it pen in it's container for a few hours, making sure to stir up the shisha every once in a while to make sure that the juices are mixed around and not setling at the bottom. ZenSilk
And then if it doesnt work, you'll have what everyone else has sitting in their cupboards. I've heard some people say that they got this to taste pretty great.

clickhea
how long should it acclimate for, 4 hours? 8 hours?the longer the better? or once it hits a certain point thats pretty much it?
RayVer
theres no "set time" needed for acclimation. It all depends on the conditions of your tobacco and where its at.I normally get off well with 4 hous. Do this try 4...see how it is.. if you think it needs more do another 4 hours and so forth. BrotherBuford
Weird, ketchup is a smell I associate with aged unflavored Virginia pipe tobacco.
sheeshabum
yeah, it smells funny when you smell it, but I'm sure you didn't spend so much big bucks just to smell the shisha. It to my opinion is one of the olny great Al-Fakher shishas, The black grape. Most of their flavours all which I have bought in 250 gram tubs were quite ambiguously similar one to the other. Once I took about 15 of their flavours and put each one in a clay bowl wthout marking the name of the flavours. I tried to figure out which flavour I was actually smoking. Many of the fruit flavours were similar. The mint was a dog, etc. I would not buy AF for even a cheap price.I don't have the same problem with 30 other brands I've smoked.P.S. I wasn't smoking the fake al fahker that was comming out, but the ones with the genuine heliogram com. marker on them.(Make sure what you bought is marked). Is my AF mint reals? There should have been a "genuine" branded tear-off ribbon on the cellophane covering the box that the tub came in. It's not a hologram. The tub looks fine to me!
