Geiseric
I have noticed that on my oldest syrian stem, a 3 hose, it is becoming increasingly difficult to get a good draw while smoking. This is varyingly worse depending on what hose port it is plugged into. After checking it carefully, I have reached the conclusion that something is blocking or clogging up that chamber right before the hose ports. In some hookahs, it is open, but in this case, it happens to be a closed one. Has anyone figured out any tricks to REALLY clean out these suckers? I can't tell if something big is stuck in it, or if it is just built up resin. I clean up that part after every smoke, but I am sure you are all aware how hard they are to really hard to clean well. so I am sure I have under cleaned it. ZenSilk
I would wrap some pipe cleaners together, and use them like you would a stem brush. If that doesnt work, douse them in vinegar, or alcohol, or the baking soda/lemon juice solution.. you know the cleaning solutions... Also, if it is a common chamber hookah with a plate covering it, as in a JandR syrian, then it will be VERY hard to clean, and may need to be soaked in a cleaninf solution as nothing could really fit in chamber very well and clean the whole thing out. Geiseric
Aye, that is what I suspected I would have to do.
ZenSilk
Yeah.. I'm kinda not really too happy about sooner or later having to figure out the best way to clean out my JandR... The Mya's are the easiest to clean, it's just a giant pit. But the plates that cover up the Chamber.. Uggh. Make shit so much harder.
boulderkid303
bend a coat hanger and push it thru.
Geiseric
I soaked it in two solutions, and now it is soaking in hot water. I will then run some of those barbed pipe cleaners through to pick up any remainders.
