SmokingDjinn
So I'm waiting for my hookah to arrive at my house, and I'm looking at the tracking information, this is what it looks like:Date/TimeActivityLocationDetailsNov 22, 2007 5:48 AMArrived at FedEx location BLOOMINGTON, CA 3:02 AMLeft origin LOS ANGELES, CA Nov 21, 2007 10:08 PMArrived at FedEx location LOS ANGELES, CA 5:00 PMPicked up LOS ANGELES, CA 2:30 PMPackage data transmitted to FedEx Marina Del Rey, CA It seems like they could have forwarded the package being that it was only 6 AM in the morning. Also they did not even ship it on friday, or today saturday. I dont know if they dont ship on saturday, but why not friday? Anyone else have experience like this with Fedex? If I had a choice I would have done UPS, much faster delivery, none of this slacking.Djinn

ZenSilk
I saw my neighborhood FedEx guy today and waved at him cause he's knows me cause of all my HookahCompany purchases. I don't have any problem with FedEx. I saw a bunch of FedEx trucks Delivering today, but i don't know if they were shipping. I've gotten a package on a Saturday from them plenty of times. Friday as well. Actually, my mom just got a Document package today from them.

Bulldog_916
I work for them. Between 7AM and noon, usually large hubs are shut down, then kicked back on at 1-2pm. All local city trucks are loaded early in the morning, about 7. Usually it's a pretty fluid process. If you're curious about it, find a directory and call the place where it's currently being held. Most of the time, they are pretty co-operative about finding it for you. Also, Saturday is generally not a day that inter-city trucks are loaded, but local trucks are. Sometimes it comes down to the driver you get. I've seen packages kept inside the local city loading areas because they didnt have a label or the driver was just too lazy to go to a quality control area and get one printed up. Sorry about that, but once again, call em up, they're pretty nice about it most times. Edited November 25, 2007 by Bulldog_916
