Still trying to get a consistent answer; which I can't seem to get from H-S either...
ZenSilk
Well, what do you want to know?Machine made, no brass parts, very pleasing to the eye, slightly tighter pull, height can be changed, threaded stem parts, auto-seal hose ports. It smokes the exact same as my JandR, but isn't as thick or heavy.

ZenSilk
Brass Ambassador.... Yes... Gooood...Oh yes, i have tried the Engineer a while back after i convinced my friend to buy one. The threaded stem performs.. the same as any other stem, it just comes apart for easy cleaning (you don't need to ram the stem brush all the way down the whole stem, you have little pieces to work with). I didn't see the downstem, but i bet that is unscrews as well, which is always a plus for cleaning and portability. The vase doesnt look as nice as it does on the internet, but it's alright. Now, the pull is harder because the hose port holes are smaller than normal. People say this is bad, but i rather enjoy it. My JandR pulls almost the same way, only i feel less friction in the JandR (the best way i can think of putting it) when inhaling. The auto-seal does not make the pull harder, alot of people will say that, but they are wrong. I would say it's a great buy, if you don't like the looks of any JandR 2 hose Syrians. Ohh, also, i don't know what style of chamber it is. I smoked the H-S Syrians before i knew exactly what to look for. I'll have to ask on Monday when they are there.
