ARRRRRRR mateys! Sorry for the long time out at sea sad.gif But I made a little dilly worth looking at and thought I would tell ya about it. I started this project a long time back and forgot about it. No clue as to why.... but while looking for something else I ran across it, whipped out me handy snips and made short work of it.
It is pretty easy to figure out the concept which is obvious being as I thunk it up ohmy.gif

Dunno about you mateys but I waste a lot of shisha in my phunnel except when several mateys, maidens, and vixens partake in me sessions. This lil trick works pretty well.
Watch the vid and we will go into further yacking as the questions and comments arise smile.gif

You can cut it by at least half. Aluminum transfers heat really well and copper conducts it. So when the mod gets hot the heat tranfers across the saver and kinda acts like a griddle.... or at that's what Shinerbock told me wink.gif
Haven't figured out how to prove that part of the theory other than speculating because of how the metals are known to behave.
You can tweak the tits (sounds fun aye?) and that will adjust the difference between the flip on how high/low it will adjust.

Yes you do, but that wouldn't really affect the taste.. actually, as a matter of fact, i think it would make the taste better. It's like a filter, it filters out the good and leaves the not so good.

Most smoke comes from the glycerine/honey/molasses that is on the tobacco, as if you heat it right the tobacco does not burn, just bakes in a sense. So MOST of the juices ait at the bottom and cook, leaving you with the most flavorful smoke you will possibly ever have. I bet this would make smoking HookahHookah tobacco MUCH more fun, as the juice would all drip down (it's not very juicy tobacco) and lead to more smoke, because it is seperated from the plant matter. Now, just imagine Tangiers or Layalina with this Shisha Saver. It may start to rain on dem hoes (Meaning you).

This is actually an ingenious idea, and i'm pretty sure will be just as successful as his Mod is, only not used as much of course. That's amazing. I think i will actually be able to smoke alone now. smile.gif

You guys should take advantage of what this man has to say. He invented the damn Mod for the Phunnel bowl for God's sakes, he knows what he's talking about. When i can get a ride to Ace i'm building myself one of these nifty contraptions.

I have a liking for the Starbuzz so it's a bit more than what I would like to spend. But even more bothersome to me is the waste. I hate being wasteful. I a sense smoking a hookah in general could be considered a waste, but anything spent solely for enjoyment would be considered a waste by that standard.
Too many times I have emptied a bowl and it not be spent. Makes me feel dirty sad.gif Wanted to handle up on the problem

they are less than two bucks. I got mine at an Ace hardware. They are about 3" around and have a little grabber in the middle. So you trim the outer and inner to fit. If you trim one just right you could trim off the tits and that would make them easier to clean.
I clean my mods by heated them up with my torch and quenching them in cold water so that should work with this as well.
Just remember not to use a steel brush or steel wool because iron particles embed in softer metal and convert to iron oxide so you get rusty aluminum or copper believe it or not. Least that's what Shiner says smile.gif

How long did it take you to make this shisha saver?


About 10 minutes with the tweaking and all. The first time I started it I had a bunch of other irons in the fire and forgot all about the idea altogether. I think I got the basic shape down and threw it in a drawer while goofing with other shit.
I ran into it tonite and was excited and disappointed at the same time. I don't like dropping the ball on something especially so painfully simple.
