Johnny_D
How long is a piece of string?I can get nahkla smoking so that it can hide my face. It's gotta be 80% setup and how you get things going. But for 'ease' i would suggest the wetter brands - Tangiers, layalina, fumari, starbuzz ect ect.JD
Exofluke
How exactly would you get Nahkla Smoke thick? Add alot of coals? I use cold water. The last brands I've tried getting thick smoke on were Al Waha and Layalina. Both failed.

Both failed.I find with Nahkla that it likes a fair bit of heat.Don't be scared to pack the bowl with a lot of tobacco either. And I find it smokes well with traditional type bowels. If your nahkla is very dry, add some honey and glycarin to it [But this is something I have todo as in the UK we tend to only get crap old tobacco's]JD
nicayotte
I agree with JD, i think any brand will produce thick smoke as long ans the conditions are correct
RayVer
yea a lot of it depends on your set up...bowl, hookah, they way you pack it.... even something as simple as the temperature.
RayVer
I forgot to mention theres other methods of getting thick smoke such as adding a little ( I do mean a LITTLE) milk to your base

leadpipecinch21
getting some fantastic clouds with AF right now...it's all about the setup...wetness helps if you don't want to get everything perfect though...
ZenSilk
Except for Hookah Hookah, which because of how it's cut automatically doesn't get full puffy clouds but saves itself with taste, any tobacco you use with the right Heat Control will get you awesome smoke. Just like JD said. It's all based on how proficient you are in the ways of the Hookah, except with HH, which is cut almost shredded and doesn't have as much juice. cloudS*****
-I'd say AF all the way. It's pretty much the wettest brand out there. Add some ice, throw your stem in the freezer overnite, and damm! I can nearly black-out my room if i exhaled toward my light.
Voski
most I have ever personally seen is with AF I don't even know how it probably was destiny but the flavor was amazing, smoke was amazing, and it had a REALLY strong buzz too I would say the buzz rivaled tangiers. I would be a much happier man if I knew wtf I did to that bowl that got it to smoke so well. I win the best bowl ever packed out of my friends cus of it =D

brettwatson
The best I have had is with Romman... But I find that a dry tobacco and prefer it that way. I have foudn a lot of people suggesting wetness.. perhaps im doing something wrong.. I found with the dry Romman It would be thick and last a long time.. with Havanna and Al Fakher I get a great first 15 20 mins, then it gets stale, and the tobacco at the bottom of the bowl is just soggy black tobacco while the stuff on top is crusty and hard... perhaps im using to much heat eager to get those first big hits.... im new to the forum so ill check for a tips thread....but i suggest Romman..for long lasting thick smoke.. can't seem to find it in australia very dissapointing... also to buy it online.. our customs charges !!!! $307 per kilo of imported tobacco products... so four 250 gram gets me a $300 tax bill before i can pick up the shisha.... how bad is that !
