Thinking Of Adding The Super Chief,

I have been looking at the SuperChief for sometime now. Should I add this bowl to my collection? As of now I have two Phunnels( small and Medium)and Scalli mod and standard bowls.

If you have smoked from one or have one please post the pros and cons.

If you already have a scalli mod for your 2 phunnel bowls then there isn't really a need for a super chief.. From what i can remeber when they first came out people were having problems getting the to smoke, but I am sure people have perfected how to smoke their super chief by now. Just don't see the need for another bowl that does the same exact thing as a phunnel +mod.

I would rather spend the 13 bucks on some AF shisha or something.

you know I started the video for this review on Wed. but I had to stop it early to go to my g/fs parents house in palm bay.... I was trying to do a full 2 hour smoke session with clips every 20-30 minutes to show the smoke.

anyways im a little busy this week but I ill try to retake that film on thursday.

If you have a phunnel bowl already then I don't think it is......It does smoke rather well but nothing a phunnel bowl couldnt do.

I have one and here's what I've determined to be some characteristics:

Pros:
1) Lasts a long time
2) Doesn't require as much tobacco to fill as a phunnel
3) Juice doesn't drip down the bowl and stem
4) Ample area to move coals around

Cons:
1) Sometimes it's still too much tobacco
2) Uses a lot of coal to heat up. I'd use 2/3 of an exotica coal (split in half) to keep it going -- Not really THAT much coal, but more than I like to use at one time
3) On a KM Tri-Metal, can't put a windscreen over it because it's too tall (same with phunnels and reg tangiers bowls)

That dumb-ass that runs Tangiers thought it would be a good idea to make a bowl where you just sprinkled a little tobacco in the bottom if you smoked Layalina, Al Fahker or something of that ilk. If you smoke Tangiers, it would be fine to fill up with Tangiers.

the super chief is so well worth it! I got one when I went to visit eric a while back and it was all i ever used tangiers or not until the sad sad day that it broke . i have a small phunnel and his original bowl as well and the SC is def the best outta the bunch despite its trickiness to pack at first. long sessions less tobacco, and thick clouds all in one package, sign me up again!
