jmexx
The first time I've ever smoked I was in grade 8 (I guess that made me 13, 14?) and it was apple. I really started to get involved a bit over a year ago. My first hookah I split with my bud, it was a spinner, don't know what kind. Now I'm upto 4-5 hookahs. The first flavour I smoked was apple. That was ever, I never smoked it since, I hate apple... Then when I started to be serious it was cappuccino, lemon, that kinda stuff!Good times... Happy smoking!Jon

Mathazar
I've been smoking the hookah for a little over a year. This is my 10th hookah. I either gave away, sold, or thru-out my other hookahs in MANY attempts to quit, but it was a fruitless effort on my part, and it's likely that I will continue this hobby for the foreseeable future. The first ma'assel I smoked was Al-Waha, and I didn't care too much for it. The second ma'assel I smoked was Romman and I absolutely LOVED the stuff and still do to this day. It's been part of my daily rotation for well over a year. My 3rd ma'assel was HookahHookah, and at the time I thought it was the BEST ma'assel on the planet, but their quality had diminished to a point where I just couldn't smoke it anymore. The next ma'assel was Nakhla, and I didn't really care for that either. Next on the list was Al-Amasi Orange, which I thought was pretty damn good stuff. Then I tried Al-Fakher and fell deeply in-love with the Coconut & Cappuccino flavors, but have since stopped smoking that brand because I no longer enjoy any of their flavors. I smoked Layalina, and that stuff is worse than Nakhla & Al-Waha. I'll admit that Nakhla Lemon & Double Apple aren't bad, when I've got nothing else to smoke, but to buy it on a regular basis, it just ain't gonna happen, I'd rather spend the higher prices for the good stuff, primarily Romman. The next ma'assel was Havana. And the only flavors I smoke are Lemon & Special Grape. There are a few flavors I haven't tried that I do have plans of sampling, but the first two flavors are permanently part of my daily rotation
John Deere
I have been smoking mine about a year now, I was first introduced to it at a middle eastern restaurant in Royal Oak, MI. It was double apple, and it was good, prob. Nakhla. I have but one hookah, but it serves me well. Got it from an arabic family, it has stamps all over it in arabic, so im guessing its some name brand...but I dont read arabic. I named it Raavi, after Raavi Shankar, the famous sitar player. Does that make me lame that I named it?

MR Bubble
I've been smoking the machine for about 5 years now. My first smoke was in Sharm El Sheik, Egypt (Sinai). It was on a Saturday afternoon and was Nakhla strawberry. After all the brands I've sampled, my goal in life is to make my smokes taste like the the shisha boy's smokes there. They make Nakhla taste so wonderful. Oh, I'm very close to it. I have 4 of them: 3 Egyptian and 1 Syrian job. The Egyptian are the ticket! My first flavor was HH Vanilla which is probraly my favorite (as of now). And have also had Layalina Raspberry, Strawberry,Mixed fruit, Mint, and Bananna. I have also tried Nakhla Rose and Cherry both of which I can't stand, I just hope the other flavors I have from them are better. Which are Coconut, Lemon, Melon, Grape, Coffee. Any know what I should expect from these? Oh....and smoking the Nakhla Rose was like a citranilla candle mixed with a nursing home airfresher....... MR Bubble
Hate to break it to you, but Nakhla grape is a little bit off. ( That's puting it mildly) But, it is kinda fun smoking the weird tasting stuff too. Always making a positive from a negative, MR Bubble
John Deere
If Nakhla grape is anything like their El basha version, steer clear!

mushrat
It's not bad really, just tastes like a grape tootsie pop. As long as you are prepared for that, you'll be fine with the basha grape.
mushrat
AH forgot the stats... Started smoking hookah in Feb of this year when my wife bought me a 4 hose machine for Valentines day. Before that I'd never even tried one. So far that 4 hose Raven from hookahook.com is my only one. The first flavour i tried was Nakhla 2 apple.
