Smileys Glass Bowl

i was wondering if the smileys glass bowl was worth the money? and if the glass top actually is better to use then foil... i am scepticale about it and was planning on making a new purchase.. any input is great thanks in advance!

I have one and I say it's a good bowl, but I don't think it's worth the $25. The glass screen is nice, but since I got the 3 hole version, it's hard to keep the coal from covering one of the holes, causing it to overheat.

Lately, I've just been using foil on it, partly because the screen also just sits on top of the shisha

yeah thats what i was thinking it would just burn hella hot in those spots and it wouldnt smoke super well because it was not air tight... is there a good reason to buy a glass bowl over having a clay? i really like the design of this bowl and am looking for somekind of stupid excuse to buy this thing

sorry to say canon... i really dont like phunnel bowls... and i really dont plan on buying one... even if it is the same price and all or less.... there is just some type of silent love when i see a bowl with multiple holes instead of just one volcano looking one... maybe someday i will change my ways.. =/

Put a scali mod on there and you've got a solid 3 holes! (or 4, if you count the 'volcano')

I purchased my first hookah from smiley's which they also gave me a glass bowl. OMG it was glorious...until the awesome day I dropped my glass bowl and it shattered...NOOOOOO!!!

After buying a cheap ceramic bowl....smoking shisha has never been the same as the good old days...

I love the glass bowls from smileys. Only thing I'd say bad about them is you need to be extra careful. Not just from the fear of dropping it...but also the coals tend to do a more slip and slide with the glass top compared to foil. How I feel the management of ash was always easier for me with the glass bowl.

I'm so addicted to the phunnel bowl...keeps your shisha nice and moist, and not too hard to keep the heat even. I'm thinking about getting another one.
